Saturday night i was over at my niece as she asked me to help her out in her declamation pieces.. yes i did some declamations back then in the old ages for me lol..so i went over and while she was still preparing i saw her books..
i saw one collection that really got me just because of the cover, the books are DORK DIARIES by Rachel Russell. I love the cover as it was pink and hard bound and when i opened it, the fonts are big..and well there were cute illustrations, somehow i am still a sucker for these stuff.. lol and then i thought this book will also entice my daughter to read as it is fun looking.
So i told my niece after helping her out that i would love to borrow one of the books, book 1, dork diaries -tales from a not so fabulous life. i love the story as it talked about a girl, a tween..and what she is going through and what its like in a private school with snobs and how she overcome stuff..and talks about friendship. I read it together with my daughter as she is not into reading books i need to guide her..and somehow she loves it..
i am even thinking of buying her those books too.

Well, though, and I mean honestly, I in my life I've only read two books at school, I believe that reading is a great pastime.
Of course I still do not like to read novels or comics, but rather, scientific encyclopedias, medical, and other materials relating to the study.
I do not know exactly what your favorite kind of reading, but from what you said in the discussion, it seems to me read to you a appreciate.
