Times are changing rapidly. There is no respect or care from children like there used to be. Families are just breaking down. I wish I had a better answer, but that is all I know. It is so sad.

Its all in the upbringing sir , i know that children ave really become disgusting , in a fly of a second they are just forgetting what the parents did for them these whole two decades and now they are doing exactly opposite of what they should be doing . I really feel sad about the scenario , i hope i could change something.

I wish I had the answer for you but I do see it becoming more and more an issue. I worked in Home Healthcare for many years and repeatedly saw kids who never even bothered to come around to see their aged parents, much less actually try and do anything for them.

NOt all, A lot of old parents here in our country Philipines are taken cared of by their children. I beleive, it depends on the kind of upbringing parents made with their children. If parents showered their children with balanced love, providence and culture, Children will look after their parents when they grow old and take care of them. More often, it might just be the feeling of the old parents being left. The old parent might not really be left, it might be that just kids are left by parents to do some job every day, leaving their children to nanny, wife and children must leave to work, to give old parent the best life could offer.
