Since when is spending alone time with your spouse sitting on the couch watching t.v while your kids are asleep next to you? I love my husband, but that is not consider alone time in my book. I consider going outside to swim or a walk just me and him alone time. What do ya'll think?

i think that alone time with your husband is to have a sweet dinner in a restaurant^^ or go to the beach^^ do romantic things^^ relationships need romance. besides you have kids. so it means you are too busy taking care of them and dont have much time just for the two. so when you have a chance to be alone, would be good to spend it in a romantic place^^ that way even being busy sometimes the love is still there and can still grow everyday.

Thank you haha. I went swimming with just me and him I called it alone time. He said we have alone time every night. It made me mad cause thats really not alone time. When I think of alone time I think of romance.

You are right and I think all will like to enjoy such moments. It is ours and not to feel it share with anyone, how related it is. But for me, may little unfortunate, my spouse don't like such things. Though she likes everything and we are good friend, wife & h/b and good in all. But she just don't like anything unusual. For many years, I just don't think even to have such occasions anymore, as I know it is not an interesting subject with her. However, I have my imaginations and got a thinking habit to visualise the things for me and in my dreams I am so happy and satisfied, may be some mistakes can happen to anyone, which cannot be rectified for the rest of the time till our last moments...

I consider that alone time too. Or when it is just you and him at home while the kids are away and no one else is around. Cuddled up on the couch watching a movie or just whatever.

I think for me, every little time that we spend together that's just the two of us is already alone time. I don't care if it's happening right inside our house doing the chores or outside touring another country. For me, just having him for me for that time without annoying phone calls or emails from work is alone time in itself.
