I drink coffee to boost my energy during the day. I am always told that too much coffee is not good for our health, but I always heard and read that it is good as an anti oxidant. But nevertheless, I took their advise. I did not drink coffee for one week and I had a hard time sleeping so what I did is I drink coffee at night before sleeping and it made me doze off to sleep. Isn't it weird?

Nita, you are not alone--I drink coffee during the day to stay awake, and then often drink a cup in the evening to relax, and I have no trouble falling asleep, either. Caffeine has many positive side effects, including helping some people to relax. In fact, caffeine is often recommended (in small amounts) in the morning for kids with mild ADHD, as it helps their brains to relax and focus and not jump all over the place. So go ahead and drink your evening brew and enjoy it!

I do the same thing when I drink coffee. I can drink a cup of coffee and then a half hour later be fast asleep. But it doesn't bother me the rest of the day. I drink it and it keeps me going all day. I heard somewhere that on some people coffee actually helps to relax them.

I prefer to drink a cup of coffee in the morning to start the day. Otherwise I would have a bad mood. But it is also good for the moments I have to study or when I share my free time with friends.

Haha, dear nita,
it is really weird that you drink coffee before sleeping. And it made you sleep. I can hardly believe it. I only know coffee can make you full of energy, and I also know that drinking coffee before sleeping makes you so excited that you can't fall asleep. Maybe you are different from others. Have a nice day!
