I downloaded a demo video on zumba. It's some sort of dance exercise. Now my mom, my cousin, and I started a routine of dancing zumba every afternoon. It is very fun, but a day after our body becomes really sore and achy all over. My cousin and I even had fever. I guess it's due to over exertionor maybe this is because we are not used to moving a lot? Should I continue?

I would continue just take it steady. Soon you will be able to do more for longer and feel a lot better for it. I couldn't get the hang of Zumba so well done to you.

Okay I will keep it steady. By the way I'm not really that good in doing zumba so I'm not sure if I'm really "getting the hang of it". I'm trying my best though as I badly need to trim down.

Hi flapiz! It's good that you have this kind of video. I was looking through the internet pf any zumba videos available. Yes, of course you should continue. This type of exercise is actually quite tiring. I know because I do zumba once a week. As for the muscle soreness and the fever, maybe you should take it easy the next time. Your body is adjusting to the physical activity that it's experiencing. Don't worry, you'll get the hang of it in no time. Have a good day!

It is indeed tiring. Even if I do it for a short period of time I sweat a lot. The funny thing is when I'm doing it, it doesn't feel so hard, but the after effects is debilitating. Haha. I am planning to continue it then. I will just shorten the time spent on it to avoid another fever.

Continue on a regular basis! For example, one hour each day. Will not feel sore later. If you stop, your body more rigid.

Okay I'll try. I think I'll start with 30 minutes per day. And if my body could adjust I'll go for 45 minutes, until I get to a regular 1 hour. Thanks :)
