How do our discussions get to "Today's Top Discussions?" Are there any criteria?

Haha. Interesting question. Even I'm looking forward to an answer. Thanks for starting this discussion. What I think is, the number of responses decides "today's top". But I maybe wrong. So I'll be interested in knowing the same too. Good day!

Hello there. I was able to experience being at the top discussion already. I guess we have to write comments that need to be answered so that responders will answer again. By making your exchange of ideas long, that will get you to the top especially if you have a lot of responders, comments and replies.

I too is wondering what criteria myLot is using to determine what discussion should be on the top of "today's top discussion". I don't think its the amount of responses since I see many whom had less than 10 responses who made it on the top spot.
Other thing is the "hot" discussions. What would be the criteria used for one's discussion to landed on this spot.
Just curious as you are..

Hello to both of you. I don't know if I am right. I guess even though you only have one or two responders but they respond to your very comment in thatsame discussion, it will go to the top especially if it's an interesting discussion. What do you say?

Yes, you're right. There's also the "hot discussion". The algorithms used by myLot to calculate earnings is confusing enough. Now there's the discussions' mathematics. Haha. Good day!

I think the more responses are there the more higher you go. You can do this by posting interesting topics, which may be different in different regions.

Hi! i have experienced having my topic on today's top, but no comments yet.. then as time goes buy some did made responses..
That made me realize, it's not about many responses you'll have, because many had received a lot of responses yet did not make it to the today's' top?
So i think, it's about a topics uniqueness and if it's timely or relevant that made a topic in today's top.. (Just a guess)
Anyway, being on the list of today's top should not matter to any of us, what important is that we are giving a big contribution in the mylot community in all our participation :)

Oh, you're right. If it's a unique discussion it will surely get to the top. Some of my topics got to the top discussion, too. They had more than 20 responses so I thought the more responses we get, the higher possibility we get to the top. I guess there are a lot of criteria and only mylot admins know. LOL. You're right. Let's just contribute our ideas and enjoy myLotting. Thanks for posting and happy mylotting.
