Meeting Online Friends

I would definitely be excited and 3 yrs is pretty good enough to know the person. But be careful and meet in public place or take a friend along with u.

I feel very happy and excited if I will get a chance to meet online friend specially of mylot friends. I have one mylot friend we meet with her and some time call also.

Hi Gracee! Yes, if I am still a single and have such chatmate, I will definitely be excited as well as partly scared.. It is not that safe to meet up with a person whom you know only through online. If you have the chance, take some extra caution. Hold your emotion. It is better to be careful.

Well, speaking from my own experience, I can tell you that I, of chatmates, I've had many. Starting more than ten years ago, initially attended only Italian sites (I'm Italian), then learning methods to make friends with more people, I started to have chat friends from all over the world! But I still say that, despite everything, personally speaking, I have never met any of them! I dunno if I would ever meet him, because I've never been in that situation. I would need to make sure he was okay, I'd have to full trust that everything's going to be alright. Something could go wrong and he could be totally different from what he led on online, but on the other hand I know people who have ended up together with people they met online. You just need to be safe and sensible about it I think, but like I said I dunno cause I've never been in that situation.

I would be anxious, excited and scared all at the same time. I myself have met people in person that I became friends with online. Just remember when meeting someone in person from the internet always meet in a public place where there are plenty of people around. You may have been talking to them for a long time but it is better to be safe. Also if possible take a friend with you if not make sure someone knows where you are going, who you are meeting and if possible give them picture and telephone number of the person you are meeting.

I'm a guy. SO I don't know how a girl would feel. But as for me, I'll be excited. Seeing and chatting on a screen is something and conversing in real, face-to-face, is a totally different experience. But if you're a girl, you should be really careful. You may never know what kind of a man the chat-mate will be in real life. Thus, I believe anxiety and fear will exist for a girl.
