The Previous Day...December 21, 2012...The Day After

Write a short-short story where the time setting is the year 2012, and the days it takes place are December 20, December 21, and December 22. You can write this piece of flash fiction... 1. using yourself as one of the main characters 2. using a well-known person such as a king/president/TV star/etc. 3. using one or more totally fictional characters 4. using one or more time travelers or 5. using other characters entirely (for instance, using aliens from another planet in roles of observers of how the people of earth respond to this time) While the setting for the story takes place during those three days, it can either be told as it is happening or else recalled years later by somebody who lived during this time and is now sharing the events with children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, etc. Study these instructions, and come up with some really great-to-read flash fiction!!!
