as i have read there will be coming storm or typhoon. last week the capital city of the philippines was submerged in water. houses were filled water on their first floor. although not in my place . but still i have to be prepared. i will just have lots of canned goods for food. like cooked beans in can, sardines which I use as a ingredient for my pasta, then we have lots of corned already. We have lots of pasta noodles . SO no need to eat rice. and maybe some meat loaf. and stock some onions, tomatoes, garlic and other basic things needed for cooking. at least if there is flooding i won't be hungry at all. as i would need to at least have the strength for those days.

Hi hotsummer, I have been hearing about all the flooding in the Philippines and agree that it's a good idea to have extra food at home. I hope too that the worse is passed and that you won't have to face more flooding in the coming weeks. Blessings.

it is better than sorry to prepare for the worst case scenario. of course, we are not wishing for another massive flooding in the metropolis, but the experience of the previous week would prompt anyone who has a good reasoning mind. i think it is good that you are preparing just in case.

It is better to be prepared than to be sorry. I'm, for one, doing that also this weekend. My wife and I already told me this, She has a list of several food items. I'm in charge of the non food ones like extra batteries, candles and find something a cheap, durable rechargable light. Let's pray that there will be no more calamity as destructive as the "habagat". Thanks

I hope it doesn't come to that for you but it's good to see you're being prepared. I hope everything will be okay.
