Van Persie is not so young anymore and he wants to win major trophies, I believe that is why he wants to move to United. And it is very likely this move will be done, as Arsenal has already signed Podolski and Cazorla, so the replacements are there already, now they will try to sell RVP and get the most out of this deal.
I assume that if United will spend a lot of money on him, RVP will be a starting lineup, and I cannot see Rooney out from the first eleven. I think both of them can play in the same formation and maybe there will be a lot of success in this collaboration. Will see where is going to land van Persie and then we will know more about the position he will occupy at his forthcoming club.

Yes, I am back here, but I don't know how long I am going to be active again. I want to be, but I have other things to do also and I cannot really find time to be really active here.
As for the German Supercup, it doesn't mean too much, but yes, I am satisfied that Bayern was able to win against Dortmund after five consecutive losses. But what I hope is that Bayern will win important trophies also, because this one was not so significant.

I think Van Persie would be great, but he's only able to go to city if they offer him lots of wages, but before they can do that they need to sell players. They already have Tevez, Aguero, Balotelli, Dzeko... I wouldn't sell any of them right now, Van Persie is getting old and has had injury problems, but all of city's strikers, except Tevez, are young.

I would be really disappointed if Van Persie goes to either of the Manchester clubs. I hope that he either moves to Barcelona or ends up staying at Arsenal. If he moves to Manchester United he would find his reception back at Emirates very hard.
Cheers!
