facebook can become an addiction. It depends on how you feel. I use to know some one that was addicted to games on facebook. This elderly woman would play a farming game on her own account. She created other accounts. Even logged into her daughters account. her husband has or had cancer and wouldn't even do things for him because she was too busy with facebook. There was one day I spotted him at the shops with heavy shopping. If I had nothing on, I would have stopped and helped him. But she was no where in sight. It was just so said. (I don't speak to the family any more because some one in the family called the police on my 12 year old daughter falsely accusing my daughter of stealing a small amount of money. Other wise I would have offered support as my father had cancer and passed away) Me on the other hand, if i had things to do, I would do them. Jumping on facebook is just for entertainment even though my husband would say I am on facebook alot. He just doesn't see what I do during the day.

yes it was. and it was terrible. I really felt for the old man. He is sick, weak, and struggled with every day life. but she wouldn't help him all because of facebook. I do remember her telling me if she didn't log onto her daughters account, her gifts would build up. I am thinking what an addict and really gave her a mouthful. I gave her another mouthful when my father had passed away. I am just glad I don't have to put up with her.

Hi friend, you are right, most of the people are enjoying lot in fb and use it from their mobile, iphone, laptop and other devices. This kind of persons are interested in keeping touch with their friends , since most of us have our own fb account, so they are updating their status in fb to share it with their friends

Facebook has become a part of life. I am currently posting on Mylot but on one tab Facebook is on. I may or may not check it for hours but it will be there. I am thankful to Facebook, I got connected to many of my school friends. I don't post too much on Facebook, but I do keep checking it regularly.

I was once very addicted to these social site , like hi5 and facebook but now I am more focus on keeping my life private , maybe when I am back home ill be like that again . What I enjoy doing on facebook is playing their games like sorority but I keep off the messenger and I hardly update my status unless I have something meaningful to share . I see some of my friends and family just updating status , like 100 new update for one day , I am like o boy !! I think its fun and addiction rap in together .

I'm not really an addict to Facebook but I know several people who are and I find it very fascinating as to why they really need to stay focus on whatever everybody is posting or saying. It seems to me that it's like a big avenue for those people who has nothing left to do but to make the world know their existence. No offense to those who are making Facebook a part of their daily routine. I guess it's just not really for me. I do check in to that but not literally an addict to that.

I'm a self-proclaimed addict. I'm responding here in myLot, but Facebook is on on another tab. But the latest trends is that people will update a status of whatever they are doing. From where they are, with whom, what they had, what they watched to fever update. I fail to understand updates like, "down with fever, can't talk, sleep, or eat. It pains all the time." If it is so miserable, how come you manage to update a status braving the pain? Was it really necessary? I don't do any of this. I just login to chat with friends. I think, very soon we will see days when people will update, "having a bath, didn't use soap. Don't tell mom. Its cool!" Haha. Hopefully I'm wrong. Good day!
