What Has Been Your Experience Using an E-Cig?

I am trying to cut down on smoking regular cigarettes (with the hope that I might eventually quit). I've been tempted to try out the electronic cigarette, and saw the some behind the counter of my local drug store. Does it seem like the real thing? Has it helped you satisfy your cravings?
