lg doubleplay?

i know that the lg doubleplay is not sold orginally as a prepaid phone via t mobile but can i put a t mobile prepaid sim card into the phone and will it work? And what price do i pay for the phone since i am going to make it prepaid? and does anyone have this phone pr want to share cpmments?
