We are usually very concerned with our health when we are younger up to the middle age, but many of us surrender to the idea that when we get older we are expected to get weaker and have bad health. I am one of those oppose to this type of thinking and believe that we could prepare for a healthy old age with the right attitude and lifestyle. Let's share each other's thoughts and ideas on some good ways to grow older and to grow healthy in older age.

I would like to be like my granny. she is in her 90s and is healthy with no sickness. only her bones are weak because of old age. She walk slowly but does gardening and anything that she wants. She has not changed her life style from how she was before. she still does her work. and this is what kept her in good shape. I wish to be like her. have a wonderful day.

She seems to be a great lady who knew how to take care of herself even until old age, and in her 90's it makes it even more amazing! I imagine myself not retiring early and still keep on working in my old age, and that is what is wonderful with online marketing because the earning opportunities online does not consider the age of each online worker as long as your mind still works well. Also keeping physically fit by exercising even in old age is very important I feel in maintaining good health even in old age. I used to play tennis with an 80 year old man who still seems strong, and my own grandfather was still active playing tennis with us when in his 80's as well. I think gardening is such a relaxing activity that suits older people as it relieves stress and maintains a sharp mind.

I think that as I get older I'm going to try to stay as active as possible and exercise. I'll still eat what I want, but I'd really like to try my best to keep my body healthy. Even though I'm only 20, one of my biggest fears is Alzheimer's. I've read online that if you keep your brain mentally active, you can decrease your likeliness. So even now I have an app for daily crosswords on my phone and I always do games that challenge my brain so I can keep it active and healthy.

You're so young, my friend. Anyway it's good that you do something against the possibility of having alzheimer's disease even at a young age. In my part, I play some online chess once in while and I believe crossword puzzles and anything that challenges your mind and makes you think a lot is a good protection against the possibility of having alzheimer in the future.

As we grow older to a certain age our body have ability to cop up with the food we eat and have the ability to balance the body. After a particular age our body lost the capability to balance whatever food we have. So we people must have to adjust with the food we have. Make use of the balanced diet which can help each of us and try to pratice exercises on each day. This is the key to have a good healthy body. Every one of us know well about it but we people are not making use of these ideas. Try to put this in your life and stay healthy and live freely.

It has always been hard for me to discipline my self in having the right kind of diet/balanced diet, but since i want to stay healthy up to my old age last year I started taking vital supplements everyday eg omega3 and vital vitamins, minerals etc. I specificly buy them from the GNLD company(golden neo life diamite int). I believe they will keep me healthier for longer.

Yes..that's a nice though as in my view..in young age..every one should make a habit of exercise ,gym..as age goes on.its better to make habit of yoga much preferable to all ages..and also healthy eating habits, even help you to boost up your health as age goes on..if say taking, drinking, coconut water..daily keeps you younger fiber content foods..are much preferable than than that of protein related ,in most cases these are few of my views...regarding health

A healthy attitude towards life is the key to live longer and healthier. Getting older is not an optional choice for us. It is true that as we grow older we start to feel the physical aches that usually come with old age. But sticking to a healthy diet, positive lifestyle and disciplined life we can overcome this problem.
