Disabling the flash and images really helps you to save the internet usage. It makes the heavy loaded site into a simple one. This is the one of the great importance of the use of such add-ons. Really it increases the speed of loading the sites but it do not make much difference lot.

It depends on multiple factors like how much information is on the website and how much space is on the computer. Sometimes it depends on the connections on the internet and its speed. If you have virus it causes it to run slow also.
