It is the same old scam, just take the check, the sender details and the whole delivery package to the police department or FBI, let them handle it from there. You have nothing to lose yet, so go ahead to do as i told you, before going straight to your bank. Bank is useless and is unable to verify anything for you, and often, they are just clueless and incompetent to handle counterfeit money order and check scam, due to various reasons and its own faulty system.

Why scammer want to do that?? It is because they are very happy to see you in jail for cashing their counterfeited check at the same time they get to steal your $$$ easily.

Hi, Please go to the bank and deposit the check. If you get the amount, you are lucky. Otherwise you can file a case against them within 90 days from the date, the check being returned on grounds of insufficient funds. I don't know how many days in USA to file case ? If you doubt it, better flag that post in craigslist as well.

It kind of sounds like a scam... You could always bring the check to a bank and have them check it out. There is no real way to find out otherwise. But definitely don't do any deducting until the check has cleared. It sounds like a scam to out you by $1,600. I would personally skip it in general because it does sound too good to be true. But if you want to go through with it...You could have a bank check out the routing numbers and if it's legit WAIT until the money is POSTED into your account before doing anything with it.

You could have get checked the check by depositing in bank. if money is paid fine. then take 450. retain all the emails sent by them agreeing for this. and if they want balance to be sent take the address and send. appears fishy-- not sure --what happened?

Dear Hisz_wifeyy88, You matter is very serious and you are saying that you dont want to withdraw your cash and want to know weather it is a fake or not .. so i think that you should go to the bank that has the name on it and look for it weather the check will not bounce and I dont think some has got that much time to cheat you .. but you are right your should conform all this .. Happy mylotting ..

I will say YES!!!!! This is definitely a scam. I receive alot of emails like this all the time and it is not just from one person, I get random people sending me the same email stating that they need a cleaner. Okay really, how many people are moving to the US and need someone to come and clean their house. Don't fall for it. I hate that there are people like you and me out there looking for legit jobs, and there are these scam artist that are out there just trying to scam people out of their money. Watch they will probably ask for some sort of deposit or ask for you bank account number and run off with your money. I would only go for jobs that are in you local area, make sure they have a legitimate address and phone number where you can contact them at and get the name of their company. And do a bit of your own research. That's what I do I only respond to people who tell me the name of their company and its local and not something that is from another country stating they are coming to the US.

I never experience this thing before, but I already heard about other people who got scammed by similar strategy. So you have to listen to our fellow myLotters' advice. If you have to cash out your own money in exchange of something, you should be watchful. I was also scammed before but on a different strategy.
