This Friday is the start of our 5 days vacation. So sad I couldn't go home because of the hihgtened alert in our place. My parents wouldn't allow me to go home because of the conflicting issues between rebel and the military. I wish I could go home co'z it's really very rare that I could have more than to days to go visit my family. :(

Awww, sorry to hear about your situation, you two. That's the sad thing here, conflicts between the rebels and the military often out the civilians at risk. Even the innocent get affected without even knowing what's going on. Many times me and my husband planned to visit some provinces in the South for a vacation, but of course fear for his safety prohibits us from doing so (his country prohibits him from travelling in those regions).

I really hate this issue with the rebels. Many civilians get involved and even risk their lives. We too has to face this hassle. We are prohibited from passing a certain road because the rebels had invaded it already.

I know you will be very sad about this. As you know that there is conflicting issues between rebel and military. So it is not a good decision to go to your home now. It is really a calculated risk.

So sorry to hear of this. It's disappointing inmost cases to not be able to go home; it must be scary to have this be the reason.

Good luck with spending the remainder of your five day vacation. It is must unfortunate that you can't go home to visit your parents. You parents have been sensible to tell you about the dangers if the rebel and the military. The conflicting issues seem very worrying. I am so glad you are staying away from that possible danger. I hope that the danger goes away in the near future. Your parents are probably staying at home to make sure they stay safe. Good luck to them as well as you.

Hi zhette! We are on the same situation. I can not also go home despite that we will be having several holidays. On my part, it is because we are not allowed to go home because we are undergoing a training.
I hope the situation in your place will be okay in the coming days. So that you may still be able to go home.
