Do u change ur own oil in ur car?

I take her in every 3000 miles or 3 moths. With me the miles usually come way before the time. It costs me about $20 and takes 30 minutes or the next one is free. One reason I take her in is because if something is going wrong they tell me about it and I get it fixed as soon as I can. That's how I got 304000 miles on her and the engine and the transmission ahve never been worked on and she still is kicking some butt.

Thanks. Wow, What kind of car is thia? That goes to show how important it is to have it changed every three thousand miles...

I have in the past. I take it in now. I don't have the time and patience for it.

Thanks, I hear that its hard to find the time just to put gas in the car let alone change the oil...

I don't. I can't but would if I could. If one is doing it oneself there if the problem of what to do with the used oil. It has to be turned in to be recycled. For those that want to know how go here to learn how http://www.rd.com/content/openContent.do?contentId=17729

No i have my brother or husband do it, or if i happen to be in town and think it needs a change i will go to speed lube and have it changed.
