I wanna be Sleeping Beauty

I have always admired the Disney princesses, they struggled, they smiled, they struggled some more and they always had friends around that would help them out. If I could choose which one to be I certainly would choose to be Sleeping Beauty... Sleeping Beauty always looked good, why would she not? She took long naps, never got old, and didn't have to do anything but snore to get Prince Charming! Yes, I definitely want to be Sleeping Beauty.

Yeah the story seems like she did have a peaceful life with sleeping! And then to wake up to your prince charming to live forever, that sounds pretty perfect.

Hahaha!! Indeed she didn't do anything at all. I guess she's the only princess who did nothing! But, has she learned something because of doing nothing? Perhaps she's beautiful and all, but she hasn't used her brain for a long time. Perhaps there are things that she needed to learn after waking up! A lot of things. I'd rather be Belle in Beauty and the Beast. She helped around the house, is naturally beautiful and smart and was able to tame a Beast! Hahahaha.. Have a great Mylot experience ahead!

Thank you for your response. You know it is a really good thing we all don't want to be the same princess. It seems it takes all kinds of princesses to make the world go round. We are so lucky to have them all.

I always wanted to be Snow White. She seemed like the perfect person: kind, generous, and beautiful. She worked hard to make everyone happy, and in the end, that goodness was rewarded to her with her own Prince Charming. Ariel was also pretty cool. Being a mermaid was like a fantasy of mine when I was young, so I guess being Ariel would be a dream come true. Disney Princesses always have the perfect lives...reality is so unfair. Nobody is that perfect or good or beautiful. And no one usually ends up being a princess. Reading these stories or any fantasy stories in general makes me really sad sometimes, because my life sucks compared to theirs.

Thank you for your response. Yes Snow White and all the others possess so many fine qualities. I guess there is a little princess tucked away deep inside all of us.

Even at my age, I wanna be a sleeping beauty too... With all the problems, stress and hardship in life, I wanna be a sleeping beauty too and wake up only when this nightmares are all done... But reality tells that we have to surpass all the pains and problems to make us a better person... and of course, I don't want to leave my family alone with these problems... We would surpass everything as one family... God bless you enjoythejourney.... and goodluck! Welcome to mylot!

Thank you for your response. You are so right about the trials and stresses in life. Fairy tales and romantic stories though give us a few moment of escape and enjoyment in our days and I love the happy ever after endings!

Thank you for your response. Most little girls loves these kinds of stories and that is why we see so many toys made surrounding the stories. Forget the toys though the stories are fun in themselves.

Lol.. it is hillarious when you said she didn't have to do anything but snore to get Prince charming! Yes, we don't have to do a plastic surgery, neither do some slimming diet program etc. And they are happily ever after - which is something hard to find :D

Yes, can't be the snoring part. Snoring is uh so feminine -(yeah right). She just slept and like you said no diets, no surgery, no wrinkles and she just woke up magically with her prince their besides her. Well I love the story anyway. Thanks for your response.

I love Disney movies also and I especially love the Disney princesses. They all sure struggle and continue to fight , I admire them so much and if I was to be one of the princesses I would choose to be Cinderella , I am also named after her lol . She was so nice to her step mother and they treat her so bad and to see she still always polite to them and karma return her good .

Heavens no, Why would I want to be myself? Sleeping Beauty did not age,(I am aging much more rapidly that I ever thought I would), she gets to take long naps ( oh how I wish I could do that) and she only had to snore to find her "Prince Charming". As far as finding my "Prince Charming" that is a whole different discussion. LOL Sorry no cute little icons to go with it- I haven't reached the magical 200 yet.

For me, the princess that I always wanted to be was Princess Ariel. The reason that I always wanted to be her is because of the fact that I love the water and I love everything about the sea. I think that it would be neat to be able to be a mermaid. In addition to that, she had a beautiful voice and I really like to sing as well. Yes, she did have problems in her life, but I think that she was beautiful and very different from the other Disney princesses.

Not in a similar sense, but I wanted to do Sleeping Beauty. We had this play in highschool, and Sleeping Beauty was played by a chic from a different school. It was sort of like a mash up of different school talents to form a one grand play. She was just beautiful and tantalizing. Plus, there was a scene where her dress got stripped because of the props. I did a standing ovation without actually standing up.

Thank you for your response. Isn;t it fun what these discussions remind us of. There is a bit of a princess and a little bit of devil in all of us and that is what makes it fun.

Yeah I agree with you on this one. Ya don't even have to do anything to get a lover except sleep and it sure beats being say Cinderella or Bell of Beauty of the Beast. Plus the sleeping beauty gets awesome fairies... I think that is the one anyway?

For me, i would like to be the white princess.I think we can fall in love with fairy tales, but in reality life we should understand the only one who can save us is ourself. Of course, we can look forward to the prince. But you know fairy tales are always have a happy ending and princess end her miserable life and live happily ever after. That's the tales, everything in it seems perfect. But in our real life , things are different. So i wish you can make your beautiful dream one day. May he is not so hansome, but she'll love you beyong everything.

Thank you for your response. Fairy Tales may be fantasies but they do add a touch of magic in our daily lives. I enjoyed reading them and I enjoy sharing them with my children. They bring joy, and laughter to our day.
