I think its going to be a good while before I ever get on facebook again. Not being on facebook, I have been even more happier, focusing more on my family and my husband. I think facebook has kind of gotten me a bit depressed, and I'm like man I need to get off for awhile. I guess you are probably wondering why I find facebook depressing or maybe you could understand why it is so depressing. My husband and I have been ttc for the longest and nothing has not happened and then we found out I have some thyroid problems and now we have to hold off on ttc. Every day I pop on facebook another friend has either gotten pregnant or has had a baby. Then people turn to my husband and I and say when are you getting pregnant or oh, you guys need to hurry up and have a baby. Really? They hardly even know how badly we would love to have a baby right now, but due to health issues, it just can't happen. But I've decided to leave facebook for a good while I was going to stay off for a month but I think I'll be gone much longer. Like I said though I have been more happier now that I have been away from it. I think my husband sees that I am more happier. What about you has anyone else out there found facebook to be depressing and decided to take a break from it. Now that I haven't posted on facebook lately, I'm sure my friends are wondering what is going on and what is up.

Moderation is all things is a very good rule to follow in life. And unless people know the circumstances they can be rather cruel. I am rather addicted to Facebook. I take my breaks on it and play the games and chat with friends. I would just be very truthful with people. Withholding information could make it harder on you in the long run with questions all. The more people know the more they have to work with and the less prior and stupid statements take place.

'In all things' is what I meant.

Actually, I have never at all thought of facebook as being something that is depressing to me. Yes, there are times that people will share something about their life that will make me sad, like the fact that a friend of mine had their father suddenly collapse and die at a gold course last week. For the most part though, I like being able to see what is going on in my friend's lives and also being able to keep in touch with people that I otherwise might have lost touch with.

Me too. I wanna get passed facebook because I observe that I am becoming lazy to read my lessons or do an advance reading. This is not like me and facebook has turned me that way. I tell you, when I wake up, I first get my phone and login to my fb account. See how it had influence me.
