Are names of bank important?

When you need to withdraw from Paypal, are names of banks important?
I mean the bank I'm withdrawing seem to have two names. One of them was Public Finance and the second one was Public Bank Berhad. I don't know which is the right one to type.
So I typed Public Finance instead.
Can Paypal still withdraw using either one of the names, just as long the routing number and the account number is correct?

I don't know about the importance. But if you are from Malaysia, I think it should be Public Bank Berhad. Public Bank Finance is fro financing like our house or car loan.
That is the problem with the bank in Malaysia. Two names, sometimes we don't know which one is it. The most common one is the one with the name Islamic at the end.
But to be sure which accout you ahd, I suggest you go to the bank and ask from them about your account. Just to be on the safe side.

I used the name on my bank's passbook which is Public Finance. So would that be okay?

The withdrawal to bank is complete and it's successful. It turns out I'm worried about nothing.

I gave ifsc code of bank, so what i have observed is that, paypal will find the name from the code you gave.
And your name should match exactly as the name you have given in bank passbook.
If your name on paypal and name on your bank is different it will invite problems.
name of bank is taken from the code that you give.

My bank passbook has the name Public Finance on it.
So would it be a problem? I mean it's really frustrating that there are two names and you don't know which one to use and in the end you use the name on the bank's passbook.

The name of bank and the IFSC code are two important thing that needs for withdrowing funds from paypal.I am not understand why you feel doubt about your bank name.See your bank account passbook.That name is printed on the front page,the name is right.Otherwise directly contact with a bank stuff.
