Three stories of hope and healing in three days.

Well, two are stories and one is more a statement.
One Saturday I was working at the multi-cultural/religious giftshop when this lady walked in. She positively glowed. I thought (since she looked to be in her 50s like me) that she might be a new grandmother or maybe about to get married again. But instead she told me her son had had leukemia and brain cancer. She had used dowsing to get rid of the leukemia and prayed/meditated really hard about the brain cancer. She got the answer to do "psychic surgery." Her son's cancer is all gone. He had been bedridden for 18 months. He had gone for his first walk that past Thursday. I asked her to join our healing circle. She said she lived far away and really only came up this way once every 4 to 6 months. I left a note for the leader of the healing circle to call her and try to talk her into coming.
The next day, Sunday, my husband and I were eating at our local diner where this guy was raising heck with the waitress. But before he left, he told my husband and I this,
"They told my Dad when he was 60 that he had lung cancer so he needed part of his lung out and needed bipass surgery because he had heart trouble. He asked if he did all that if he would live. They told him about three months longer. He told them to go jump. That was 35 years ago and he just celebrated his 95 birthday."
Then the next day, Monday, I asked our Deacon by email if we only get so many miracles (since I had already had two). He said that he should have died 11 times in his life, but he's still here. The Drs told him the last time that he had two days to live. He told them that they weren't God and only he can decide when someone goes. He thought they had a lot of nerve. He had had cancer. But he's fine now.
So this is encouraging.

Hi writers
The three stories (as you call them) are quite interesting. I would have loved to find one such healing place here too where we could gather and heal. I do feel encouraged to find more about the holistic healing and the right ways to meditate. I know I would need a guide to start off with but then, when there is a will there is a way.
I do hope and pray that you do get well soon. I did read about the tests not being as popsitive as they should be, but I would firmly say that your feeling better is much better for you than the tests... they can be wrong too but what you feel from within is better and good for you.
Prayers, wishes for you

Thank you for the words of encouragement. Is it ok if I pray that you get a place to gather for healing?
We are twice blessed where I am. We have two healing circles with two different places to meet. One is in our nearest city and is on Sunday in a massage business. Medical massage.
The other is in the country and in what is called a community room by a business. She and her husband made a room out of an old warehouse at a train station. Her business is in an old caboose where she sells things. But the train warehouse is where we have our meetings.
Sometimes an old room no one is using (I know, we're talking India, that probably doesn't happen). An abandoned building (again, probably not realistic) or even a room full of stuff that people can sell or find ways to pack it away better to give space.
Like you said, where there is a will, there is a way.

Hi writers.
Thanks for the prayers for me. Today, in the morning newspaper there was a pamphlet saying holistic cure. Among the details was also mentioned that they are into religious discussions which help in healing! I was interested and so went to this address. Unfortunately, all I found was the reading out of religious texts. I asked a few people who are frequent visitors to this place and they said this is what helps in healing. I couldnt understand how could this happen. I know the atmosphere during such recitals is good and soothing but I dont see any healing effect, but their belief is - a majority of illnesses worsen due to stress and such recitals remove the stress. I however could not agree.
What would you suggest to this? I ask you as I know you are much more experienced than me on this method of healing.

If during the readings, people meditate, pray or something, then it is possible that there could be healing. I would ask, has there been healing? Who has been healed? Will this person (or these people) give a talk about the healing and how it worked for him or her (them)? Clearly, there is something missing there for you, but not for them. I have been to healing situations that were not right for me. Even after it was explained to me, it was just not right for me. On the other hand, I have been to some that I did not understand, at first. But once they explained it better to me, it was the right place for me. So my advice, get more explanations and make your own decision. I have faith that you will find the right place for you.
I do not dismiss anyone's experience or beliefs. Mostly because there are so many ways to heal. If the people who go there are stressed and the readings help them relax, the calm and relaxed state may help them. It may be a good place for them.
I have found that a place may be good for me for a while and then not later on. Or the reverse. It may not be right for me now, but it is later on. Often, a place that is wrong for me, I speak to friends and it is the perfict place for a friend or relative to go.
I think there was a reason for you to be there. If not for you, then for someone else some day.
I do not know if what I wrote is any help to you or not, but I hope so. Usually we do a lot of explaining where I am to help people heal themselves and each other. But it is also to help them decide if it's the right place for them.

i always believe in miracles... and in hope my friend.
when i read the book by Paulo Coelho, by the river piedra, i saw down and wept - that was the title of the book. in that books it said that every day there are so many miracles just that we, people do not see it anymore as we are always consumed by the things around us, by worldly things.. that book inspired me to see more than i could as i know i could see a whole lot more..

That sounds like a wonderful book and very moving. I think I probably see miracles more than most. Thank you for responding.

Encouragement helps with the healing from inside to out. Continue to be encouraged.

hello writersedge,
well i always think coincidences are a sort of message.
so maybe the message you are being sent is to carry on with the healing, or perhaps even to get more involved, though i wouldn't give up on doctors, just supplement them (i have to say that, to sound reasonably sensible).
there are lots of genuine people involved in healing, i find it fascinating, though personally i am far too excitable to be any good at it, i like the work of counsellors too, but i could never do it, the poor patients would leave more confused than when they turned up.
but i am sure you are old enough now to work out who you can trust and who you can't, so maybe the message you are being sent is to find out more about it.
take care.

Dear Writersedge ,
There are alot of stories like theses seen in there days and are many old stories about miracles but what i think is the best is and what i found common among these people is that they never loose their hopes and aim .. they are too high that even if some one tell them they are going to die tomorrow they say no you cant decide when i die God decide when i die .. so i call this faith .. these people truly and blindly believe over God and they are happy with all the situations in life weather they are given health or not , weather they are given wealth or not , weather they have good time or bad time or weather they have any problem or not .. There people who are that much lucky is all due to their faith .. May God blessed us all
Happy mylotting user ..
