Garlic is an amazing herb because it's a natural antibiotic. It's anti-viral, anti-bacterial, anti-fungal and it's considered an antioxidant. It has also been known to kill off parasites.
I've never tried drinking garlic water but I definitely add garlic to a lot of my recipes.

When my blood pressure is beyond normal, I use to take a clove of garlic together with a spoonful of honey. This normalizes my high blood pressure. And when taken on a regular basis, I mean everyday, it helps lower cholesterol level and reduces arterial plaque formation.

I heard it's good for the heart. So i guess it won't only drive away your flu but it will also strengthen your heart then.

Yeah, it will prevent some flu, My parents also gave that as a herb with the bite of animals like dogs, cats, rats and etc. My aunt also use that to avoid having high blood pressure she eats it like candy, but not yet tried it! haha

I am not sure and have never heard about usage of Garlic water. However, I do use Garlic in Tea when the weather is slightly cold, or I have cold or cough. Garlic is also good when used with Vegetables and pulses.

I know that garlic has anti-viral and anti-bacterial effect on the body but using garlic water, I have no idea on what are the other benefits of this. I just know that it contains sulfur. Maybe, the effect of sulfur in our skin is the same effect as garlic water. Just take the smell of the garlic. LOL
