I'm afraid of heights but i want to be on top, last April I bought a sculpture of mountain climbers place in my office room as an inspiration to conquer heights. If I'm in 39th floor glass elevator I felt dizzy, my mind and spirit wanted but my body did not cooperate. I wanted to ride a cable, zipline, skywalk, rope walk but my legs were shaking :) If only I can do all this things then it's a great SUCCESS.....by the way.. I'm not a quitter any suggestions are open :)

I have the exact problem as you do. I cannot look down on moving escalators as I feel dizzy and bump into people around me. I also cannot stand near glass or a window when the lift goes up or down. My body feels wobbly and my knees buckle and I fear that I will fall down. I cannot also take too many people in a room. They overwhelm me. This problem has caused that I do not take my morning shower at the same time of the day as I am afraid I will have a dizzy spell or my legs will cave in. I have not even had my shower yet, but not wasting time - I am using the time to strengthen my legs and walk up and down the long passage in my house.

I used to be afraid of heights. But I was able to conquer it the first time me and my friends decided to go mountain climbing. They're actually my friends from work and most of them have been climbing mountains for years already. They knew of my fear but since they want all of us to have a good time, they assured me that they will take care of me and will help me. True enough, all of us bonded and became even closer. And the good thing is, I was able to reach the summit with them and in effect, conquered my fear of heights. So I guess a set of good, supportive friends will also help in conquering whatever fears may you have.

Hi sun!
It great idea to that you have such a sculpture to boots you to reach great heights! lol not the 39th floor! I mean your success! Reaching great height need heard work and dedication towards your work! But today people are more often seem to be lazy at their work! They always need someone's help to complete their own work! Even at my office I see such kind of people and some don't even stay for 9 hours at office!
Regarding the floor heights! I have fear of floor heights but i love success heights!
We have food courts at ground floor and at 7th floor. But the corridor will only have steel rods to support you. I think they have built it for fashion and not for the importance of associates life there! So that reason we avoid going 7th floor! We have a safe coffee or tea at ground floor itself!
For me safety is more important than standing at more heights. Here I'm mentioning about the floor heights!
