My Laptop clocks at 50% max, pls help!!!

Hi saeed, Clock speed is a parameter used to measure the processing speed. You cannot increase the designed clock speed. For example, If i3 is having 2500 clock speed means 15 processor will have 300 and so on. Higher the version of the process higher the clock speed. In other words, if you open too many applications your process will have high clock speed showing that it is processing huge requests! All the request to the process is converted as binary value and set of binary values process per second is measured as clock speed. Hope you understand about clock speed now! Try to clear all the dump files, temporary files and %temp% folder's file. That will help you to increase the performance.

You can increase your CPU speed if its down, that is know as CPU throttling. But NOTE if you use a lot and run heavy application your system will burn out of heat. welcome to mylot. Most of us face this problem -- slow speed in laptop. You can attempt deleting temporary files. install good antivirus , anti spyware. remove the battery. wait for 20 seconds,. then reload the battery and start. mostly things may improve. good day.
