Filling my days with something worthwhile

Being a mother of 4 beautiful daughters my days were filled with them. Comings and goings, dressing up, dressing down, homework and sports. I had no life, they were my life. I don't regret one second of it. As mothers aren't we suppose to be like that. Then comes, one by one them moving out on their own, starting their lives and there I was. At home no girls to come home from school, no talks after a date and no shopping for that one of a kind prom gown. Had my job been over, was I not needed, who did I have to spend my time with. Yes, I had my hubby, but mothers you know, there is a difference. At the urge of my husband I dove head first in to my hobbies, which saved my sanity. It was a outlet, something to do and something to take up my time. I find myself lost in my art, art which I incorporate my children in. So, in a sense they still fill my days.

You are good and doing a nice and decent job,you are so lucky to have 4 children and make sure you spend most of your lovely time for them and share your vision and utilise it for the best since these age will never come back.

You sound like a really good mother and that you helped your children a lot while they were younger. This is something that I think is missing in today's mothers sometimes, maybe they are busy and can't devote as much time as you were able. The world is changing and no one can be blamed for that. I am glad that you were able to do this for them though.
On to the topic though. Perhaps you can pick up a hobby. Even though you still have your children to look after, you should find something to do for yourself. I have been considering trying crocheting but I haven't started yet. I spend a lot of my time on here earning online and that is my hobby also. I play guitar. There are some options out there for you but its just a matter of finding which one is going to be your hobby.
