Last night I watched a movie called Mirror Mirror and it is a movie about Snow White. I am disappointed to this movie and even found it boring. This fairy tale is nice but somewhat the movie story seems stupid. Especially some characters have clumsy behaviors. I even wonder whether children will like this movie. I doubt whether Julia Roberts would have an interested in acting in this movie

Hi youless, since it's a boring movie certainly I won't watch it. I will watch Snow White And The Huntsman, recommended by AmbiePam and saying that it's great Unlike Mirror Mirror that is so dull.... Thanks for the sharing and this helps me to skip the boring movie for I haven't watched it yet.
Happy posting

Then you will not be surprised to know that movie did not do well at all at the box office. Now the other Snow White movie, Snow White and the Huntsman did very well. It was a drama with Kristen Stewart, Chris Hemsworth (who also played Thor), and Charlize Theron. Of course now, everyone thinks of Snow White and the Huntsman as the movie where Kristen Stewart had an affair with her married director and ended up cheating on Robert Pattinson. A shame.

Look for the actress who plays Snow White's mother. She's the wife of the movie's director. The director who had an affair with Kristen Stewart. So basically, the woman played the mother to the woman who had an affair with her husband.
However, my dad saw the movie and he thought it was great.

I just rented this from Netflix and I certainly agree. I think it was just a reason for some designer to make a bunch of dresses. I had to see it though cause Julia was in it. She did well but it didn't look like she was putting alot into it. I didn't care much for it.

Youless, i had watched this movie last month and we don't really like it, too. Indeed, it is quite a boring movie. I still prefer to watch the old version of snow white, which is more lively movie. I am sad to see Julia Roberts had taken the role of a bad mother in this movie. Hope in future, they will make another interesting version of snow white.

Well, it is not a movie for all. It wasn't boring for me, it was quite fast paced and really funny. I don't think it was a movie to be taken seriously, i especially loved the Prince Charming since he was good in acting like a puppy.

I agree, this movie's interpretation of the classic fairytale doesn't bring anything new to the table.
Julia Roberts with her dual-role in the film tries to cast a new light on the stepmother's role but the storytelling leaves her character/s underdeveloped.

I have a house full of girls and they all seem to enjoy the live tales as much as the animated. Sometime movies have to grow on you too. What you missed is reveiled the second time watching it.

I really expected something different story but nothing came as I expected. The movie is well bored. I hope there will be next version of the same movie, which can buy a lots of claps from us viewers.

I reallllyyy wanted to see this movie, but everyone I spoke to who had seen it said not to waste my time. Such a disappointment because I love Julia Roberts and I liked the idea of how they changed Snow White around. On the flip side, I heard the other other fairy tale movie (I think it's based on sleeping beauty) was excellent.

I could tell just by watching the trailer for the film. Not to mention that the actress would not have been my first choice for Snow White. The same goes for "Snow White and the Huntsman", I would have never picked out Kristen Stewart to play Snow White.
I'm old school. I'm traditional when it comes to Snow White. She has to look like what I picture in the story, and this goes for just about any character in a movie. The characters have to look like the character in the book, or come very close to it. Kirsten Stewart and Lily Collins do not look like Snow White, well, not my version of her at least.
The description of Snow White according to the books: "Oh, how I wish that I had a daughter that had skin white as snow, lips red as blood, and hair black as ebony".
Okay, with this in mind, and I don't think that it is that hard to stick the the description, please cast an actress that can meet up to the appearance. Not top mention that she has to look like the "fairest in the land" according to the magic mirror.
Also, Snow White was originally a very dark German story. It was part of the Grimm Fairy tales.

I think Julia want her role or maybe the talent fee is high. I don't want the movie either but I think there's an audiences that they like to target so they created the movie. This is not the movie type I will watch but I think there's always a usual audiences for every movie genre.
