Suppose...

Suppose there exists God(s). Suppose there is a heaven. Then the existence of a hell is obvious. I've been an atheist throughout my life. I never prayed, I never worshiped and I never followed any religious book. But I've been good, honest and a helpful person throughout my life. I never offered money, in the name of donations to any religious institute. But I donated to charitable organizations, who work for aged, handicap, underprivileged children, etc. I meet death. As death is inevitable, be it a believer or a non-believer. Suppose my soul flies to God, for judgement as to where it will find place, heaven or hell. What in your opinion will be the verdict and why?

The atheist's wager comes to mind. If you are truly good, then on what grounds should he punish you? Just for not believing he/she/it exist? But its not your fault you did not find a substantial evidence for his/her/its existence. So it will be a win/win situation, unless god is egoistic, but what are the chances of a "good" god like that?

That's exactly my point. Being good should be more focused on rather than did he follow the book or not. But I heard many prophets, priests, etc. that a person who has always believed in God(s), followed the book and had faith will only find place in heaven. Why so much emphasize on faith rather than being humane? I like your point about the "egoistic God". Thanks for responding. Good day!

I think god knows who did well or not no matter you believe it exists or not. And I always believe that good things happen to good people. Thanks for sharing, and have a nice day!

That's in theory. In real life the baddest and meanest get to the top, while the good are left to rot. Thanks for your response. Good day!
