While reading a book I've come across the topic Gossip. It caught my attention and interest, for it somehow states fact about it. In the article is said that gossip is its name and it never respect for justice, it maim people without killing. It break hearts and ruin lives. Its cunning and malicious and gather strength with age. The more it is quoted the more it is believed. It flourish at every level of society. Its victims are helpless for no one can protect himself against it because it has no name and face. To track it down is impossible. It is nobody's friend. Once it tarnish a reputation, it's never the same. It topple governments and wreck marriages. It ruin careers and cause sleepless nights, heartaches and indigestion. It spawn suspicion and generate grief. It make innocent people cry in their pillows. Those things I've mentioned made me realized how a simple gossip ruin people's lives. :(

That is a very nice article. Where have you read about it? It is so true that a simple gossip can be very harmful to its victim. What you have mentioned above are all true. Its damage can be overwhelming and can ruin lives. Those who have been a victim of gossip, just try to not ever react and keep everything in perspectives. because sooner later, they would be talking about someone else. And to those who loves spreading harmful gossip, there will come a time that you can also be victim of it.

Each and every sentence written here is true and heart touching. I have seen relationships breaking because of gossips. Just to kill time and for cheap entertainment people gossip about others. Then the listeners add some more spice to it and spread that gossip among others. They don't realize that such gossips can hurt someone or damage someone's public image.
I wish people could talk something good and positive about others. Could praise others behind their back. Could spend time in productive things instead of wasting their time in unproductive talks.

It is indeed true, but most people believe otherwise. They think that gossip is harmless. They think it's just a hobby, a past time that they could feast on. They think that it's a necessity of life.
I hope people would realise that the gossip they consider as harmful, could destroy lives.
