Mommy is unfair.

My father is like that , I some times feel he side more with my older sister . My mother treat my brother and I equal to me , she is better to deal with than my father . Even though people will say I am his baby but I dont see any special treatment .

I feel the same. I am also a mother and I know that sometimes mom becomes unfair towards their children. They just can't accept about it- but I knew it, as I admit that there are times I acted/sounds/looks unfair to my kids. but there is always a reason why it happens. On the other side, I want to understand my mom for being so unfair between me and my sister. but, being the eldest I always give way to avoid troubles.

Hi angelpink..i used to be like that before, i thought i am an adopted daughter...just show to them that, you are the best among the rest.show them your love not hatred soon they will realize time will come, she will noticed it. just like me..

Hi Angelpink, I can relate to you, when I was young my mom always unfair to me and she always took care and love my second sibling than me. It is really painful when you knew that you mom don't love you the same way she did to your sibling but life must go on. I just made my promise to myself that I will never be like her and I will always love and take care my future children equally.

Some mothers do choose one child over another. may be because they are alike, their liking and interest are alike, Mothers who are unhappy with their relations also tend to love the one who are most demonstrative or affectionate, rather then the child with reserved feelings, so that they can get emotional support. also if a girl child is more like their mom, she tends to be her mom's favorite. But please don't blame your mom. if you say so, they feel guilty. because no parents want to have a favorite child. they love all their children equally. even we want to be with friends and people who have similar nature, interest, liking, who are more like us. its just a human nature of being along with similar people.
