Lover of Oldies but Goodies

Hello, I have been a R & B music collector and lover for over 30 years now.I have a collection of music from the 50's,60's and 70's. It seems to me after the 70's good music stopped being made. I can't seem to find anyone who shares my love or interest of oldies but goodies. I'm talking about The Tavares, Blue Magic, The Manhattans, Kitty Lester, and even the one hit wonders. My list could go on and on. If there is anyone who shares my love of music, I would love hearing from you.

Hi! I do love the 70's and the 80's music because their lyrics... I love the musics of ABBA, Carpenters, The Commodores, The Stylistics, Earth, Wind and Fire and lots of Bands during those times... The love songs are awesome and many singers that I love on those days are Janis Joplin, Barbara Streisand, Olivia Newton John and so on....

Hi Goldenladyrege, thanks for responsing. I love the Carpenders also. I was so upset when Karen passed away. I love the songs Close to you and We've only just begun. I love Dancing Queen by ABBA. Take care.

I also love some songs from the 50's, 60's, 70's and 80's. But not all of them.
Sometimes when I'm feeling blue then it's nice to listen to them. I also have a friend who loves the oldies. And he also collects old albums, singels etc .
Nice to hear that we are not alone :)
