Hi friends..
I used to do a lot of writing (journals, blogs etc...) when I was in College & after that, when I returned to my roots after many long years in foreign countries. I really enjoy it.
But unfortunately, things just haven't been the same for a really long time. I seem to have lost that stroke of creative inspiration that is so important in writing a good journal or just a story. I feel that the initial "push"/"epiphany"/"inspiration" is very critical. This is what has been missing for me for a long time now. I am really not liking this situation.
How many of you feel the same way? Have you ever faced a situation - "writer's block" - when things just don't seem to come to you while writing an article or a journal or some story ??
Thanks, in advance!!

I am facing this right now. Sometimes I feel so inspired, I can't wait to write a whole book. Then I feel like I've completely lost the ability to say anything about anything. So, I pick a topic, research it, write about it and don't criticize myself until the end when it's all written out. That's the hard part.

Hi CeliaAR..
First of all, welcome to myLot... Its good to see the number of members increasing here. I am sure you'll get the opportunity to explore your creativity here.
Well, I was in that "Writer's Block" situation for quite some time.. Nothing seemed to come to me as far as writing goes. Some time ago I tried writing an article on a certain technological topic. But, it got rejected... So, I was back to square one.. Lets hope it doesn't happen again..
Thanks for your response... :)

You could always write about writers block? ;) aha I know it sounds silly but seriously you could brainstorm all sorts of ideas to expand the motif.
Write about the likes of daydreaming due to boredom from writers block and over thinking and how actually by just staring at something you realise that your imagination can create something quite extraordinary in your mind.. Maybe something only you can understand? And in that split second of coming back round to reality you forget all about it.. Like a dream...
Some people over analyse every little possibility and thats what causes writer block you need to expand your creativity and think outside of the box in order to become a good writer
