Having experienced both making money online and offline, my chose would be making money online. I'm sure I could expect different answers due to different circumstances and experiences, but at least in my own experience I really love making money online a whole lot more as compared when I was earning as employees of different companies I have worked in the past. What I like about making money online is that you get a lot more freedom to do the things you like without having any boss to follow. Owning your time, having no boss, saving on travel and food expenses, working in comfortable clothes and at the same time having the potential to earn a lot more than being an employee or even managers of different companies has been a great experience and challenge for me so far and I guess for years to come.
How about you, what is your choice and why and can you share your own experiences with either working online or offline or both?

Yes, I also love earning in mylot and using my earnings to support my other endeavors online. I may say though that generally it's not possible to earn more than $50 in mylot without lots of 'active referrals'. That is why I envy those tops referrers here in mylot whom I see having 8,000 referrals, others 6,000 and many others with several thousands of referrals. I wonder how many of those are active and how much each of these top referrers are earning per month...hmmm.
I do hope some of them see this and at least give me a personal message here in mylot just to satisfy my curiosity. :)

Same here :) I like joining MyLot and other online income generating programs because I can do it at home and during my spare time, though I still like working offline and meeting "real" people :)

I prefer making money online just because you can manage your time and you do not have to rely on any schedule or time tables in order to earn. You can earn while you sleep as your online business is working 24/7/365 ready to sell, find customers, business partners...
Of course the offline thing seems always more secure as you get the money directly in your hands or into your bank account... each one has its benefits and its risks.

I would totally agree with what you have just said, camalich. I would say both are challenging in a different way. The challenge in working offline is to be able to rise the ranks and to get the best monthly salary possible, plus managing your relationships with your boss, colleagues and clients. The challenge in working online would mainly be on how to earn enough money to support all your family's needs and wants. The other factors are not necessary with working online.

Having done both I would have to say both. There was a time that I just could not find a job and so what little I made online was what we used for expenses. I say we because this was when I was married or just dating my ex. In any case, now I have a job, and I had asked for fewer hours. I still have those fewer hours.
I honestly have to say that I really prefer being my own boss. I can pretty much make my own hours and nobody difficult to deal with. However, I do like getting out and earning outside of the home just to be able to get out of the house. I don't get out much otherwise.
I only work twice a week, and the rest of the time you can find me on here.
I'd rather make my own hours, and this way I do.

What work do you do offline and online? If you dont mind my asking, that sounds like my dream! Both worlds in unison.I would have time for myself and my daughters. Im only able to be online right now as I'm going through a court case and cant keep a real job 9-5 so an advice would be greatly appreciated.

I think I am attracted to earning money online more than I am earning it offline. I prefer to work at home and be with my kids during the day and really just not have to deal with office drama or getting out in the public and dealing with rude people in general. Of course if I made as much online as I did offline in the public arena I would be a very happy girl!

Hi Shellyann, I could easily understand what you're talking about as I also experienced it when I was working in companies in the past. Especially most of my work involved selling so I was involved in a lot of stress and this includes difficulties in dealing with some co-workers, company intrigues etc...
I would say that to reach your desire to at least get the same income you get from working offline with that of your work online, you would need to invest some money doing so. This would be in general case, but everyone have different talents that could be used effectively in earning huge money online. My ability to teach English online to Koreans itself gives me almost the same income I get when I was working in some companies I had in the past. Opportunities are everywhere on the internet, but the easiest way I found out to get good income is when you invest your money, BUT it's most important that you are in the right site to invest to...and I think this needs a lot of prayers, experience, research and some good amount of luck.

I like making money online! It's more challenging and attractive to me and it's not easy as well! We can work and make money offline but the extra income from the online activities always comes to me as a gift and it usually comes when I need it the most! I also enjoy my time online very much and internet offers so many different opportunties that we can explore. Nice topic :)

Yes, I hope more mylotters would share their good experiences with some online jobs or tasks. I think the more suggestions we could get, the more things we could try out and we may find something that would be appropriate for our taste :)
Anyway besweet, I also am finding a lot of joy and fulfillment in my online work and investments and I felt that I am almost about to discover my own secrets of earning a really decent amount of monthly earnings.

seriously, a little of both for me because, for one, I like to work with my hands, and be productive in that way.
For the other, it is nice to stay at home and make money too. But I get bored way to easily. I have to get out and get some fresh air.

I understand about the boredom you felt when working at home as I experienced it a lot before and even sometimes now. There simply just came a point in my life when I felt I needed to have a larger income in my work at home, not only to help myself but also to support my parents who are already incapable of working full time and in their 70's already and because of my desire to at least give them no stress in terms of paying the bills and anything concerning money, I started to work harder online seeking many different opportunities that I could search...this I have done in the past 5 years or so, and I feel this year up to early next year would be the best years for me, believing that I have finally found the opportunities that would make that happen. I guess everyone has their own motivating factors, and in my opinion motivating factor is the best reason to give your all in searching good income online.

But the bottom line of these boils down to the amount of money we earned, be it on-line or off-line. I would say that I had a regular job, and it pays just above average compared to other employed employee here in our country. But as our salary increase every year, so does the cost of living. high prices of our basic commodities, such as food, clothing and shelter, fuel that runs our industry and transportation are much higher too, and all other things that we buy. Though increasing, my salary increase is not proportional to the increase of our "cost of living" here. So I opted to look for residual income in which I found over the internet. Instead of wasting my time surfing the net, engaging in social sites, etc. i found that internet can be a good source of extra money.
Now that I'm fully aware of it and learned some of the sites' in and out, i would say that this will be a part of my life. For your question though, I would still prefer to off-line source of income.

I loves both ways.I loves to make some extra cash from online but begins its very difficult task for every person who wants to earn online money .online money is depend different things such as chose a right website, use your mind right way and hardworking. In this way you have never need to fellow a boss, traveling, come and go to different places, obey the order from your boss and never race to other people behind you .You just need one pc,comfort internet connection ,know to how are suitable earning methods for you and some spare time etc....................

Offline work, in the corporate world, can offer a better and more stable salary. It also offers more learning and of course, involves interaction with other human beings, which we need to keep our sanity.
Online work, like you describe, can also be fun and the freedom it gives you makes it lighter and more enjoyable. If I can find a good paying online job, I'd be happier.
Can you share your online gigs with me, please.

I would say in general terms what you said is true. It's really difficult to find regular good monthly income online except to a few exceptions. Offline jobs are really more stable but I felt I'm getting closer to that stage wherein my online income is getting more and more stable as well and getting bigger. I do get paid with some online jobs like English lessons online to Koreans but it's lean month now and many of them are often absent.
Anyway, if you're asking me about my online gigs I'm earning now in Justbeenpaid.com which is an investment site similar to hyip but a lot more stable due to their 'restart feature'. My investment is earning me 2% interest daily for the weekdays and 1.5% on weekends. The site allows you to compound your money as much as you want which makes it very easy to grow your daily earnings fast. This site has already gotten back my intial investment and now I'm in profit. I started with $100 investment and it was earning me $2 daily but now my daily earnings have reached more than $15 daily! Although I can't payout all these earnings as I needed to reinvest some of them back so that my earnings would be continue, so in 10 d1ys I could get payouts while the other 20 days I use for reinvesting the money or compounding. This is due to the fact that every $10 investment you make expires every 80 days, so reinvesting is the way to replenish your investments and even make them bigger. The other one is a similar site but I just joined them so I can't show you any paymnet proofs yet, but I felt it could even become better than justbeenpaid and the site name is Wealth4allteam.

hi,i also love making money online, just as you say,if you make money online, you can get more freedom, which is very vital to me,and have many time which belong to me.however, compare to offline,it is more difficult to make money online,so we must work hard!refueling, friends!

I would agree, liguoping. For those who work offline, many of them are really skillful in social skills and dealing with people and that way they become very successful and fulfilled in their jobs. So I would guess it would be difficult to work offline for many, but to some it would be the only way for them because they have the necessary skills to make it good in the work place.

Both! Doing online and offline jobs has its own perks! When you do online jobs, you hold your own time. This is easier for mothers or people who need part-time or 2nd jobs. Office jobs I think offer more learning experience since you are dealing mostly with different kinds of people. Both has its own advantages and both helps you earn money.

"To each his own". I guess this saying is applicable to picking either online or offline work. Everyone will have their own preferences uniquely different from other people. Some would like to work online only, others offline online while others still would like to combine online and offline work. The types of work online and offline that each prefers would also vary.

what attracts me most is making money online because i could see more comments and more interesting thing to do when you are exposed to worldwide network. Its more easy than making money offline, with this, you don't have to spend for your food and for transportation and even more you can enjoy sitting while facing the computer and eating what you want. You will feel more safely than making money offline. In some cases, more companies will like to know you more and open your acount because they want to have their benefits that you've share each day in your life.

You have mentioned a lot of advantages here of working online as compared to working offline, and I did search for those benefits before on the internet and found lots of other writers comparing the work online and offline and their advantages and disadvantages. One good benefits I would add in working online over working offline is that you would find yourself getting sick less. In general terms, there would be a lot more stress working offline so this could lead to different types of sickness, from common cold, to fever and even diseases you could get infected with from other co-workers who still went to work even when ill. In this case working from home is supporting the saying "health is wealth".
