Long weekend yipee!

As for those in the Philippines, i guess most of you by now know that we will be having a very long weekend as there will be no work on Monday and on Tuesday. Yipee! I am actually expecting it and been thinking of what to do on those days.. i even actually sorted it out.. Saturday night, might ask my husband to go to a massage parlor yey! as he is complaining of body ache..so might as well tell him to take me to the massage parlor and we could go and have one.. then Sunday, might take the kids out, bring them to Church and park for while in the morning and then do some general cleaning at home and do the laundry..then do some grocery shopping by the afternoon... Monday, i might take the time to make some CAKE POPS! yes i saw how easy it is and a friend wants me to make some for her..so i really might do that so she will order some from me yey! and the rest of the time i will just do nothing but read and sleep. how great is that. anyone else looking forward to the weekend? i would love to mylot over the long weekend too but sad to say i do not have any internet connections at home... oh well...

hi jazel__juan I am glad you there in the Philippines will have a long weekend as you all need a break from work too.You really have it all planned out so thats really looking forward to the long weekend,.do not do too much work at home but have time for some fun too. I am just so glad to have my computer back running again,. wish you had internet connections at home. myabe someday huh? love hugs from hatley

I do want internet connection at home Ms. Hatley but since most of the time we are not at home, i find it a waste..maybe when the kids will be using more of it maybe thats the time i will go and get one..as of now, its not the priority.. will surely be missing mylot my friend.

I was intrigued with what you guys called a long weekend. I thought it was long in the sense that lot of things and accomplishment will be done on the weekend which is Saturday and Sunday. But your inclusion of Monday and Tuesday as part of the weekend sounds funny because those days are the week-start and not the days ending the 7 days of a week...

lol we call it here a long weekend as.. we will have no work on weekends (sat and sunday) and its extended as we also do not have work on Monday and Tuesday as it is a holiday here.. thats why people termed it as very long weekend..

Massage Parlor, Cake Pops, Church, Reading, Sleeping... eh! that is too much for a weekend and a holiday... I would prefer to go out and stay at my dad's place - no work - only rest... and mom cooked food and nephew to play with... oh, he got a gaming pad yesterday and it has some really great games.... we would have a fight for sure. And then there will be me and him watching his Cartoons... Tom and Jerry - I still cant stop watching it... SNAP!!! back to reality.... I have no where to go.

i do love tom and jerry too.. but hubby said it is a bit violent for kids! so we stopped watching it.

of the several reasons I love Tom and Jerry the best one is that they are the best examples of what a loving relationship for life should be (my belief - it always keeps the spice in the relationship)

Hi Jazel, same like you, i am having a long weekend holiday as well. We here plan to go for a short vacation in my relatives village. To have a break from the stressful life of city. Indeed, it is a wonderful time, to be able to do things that we longed to do. Hope in future you will install an internet connection at home, so you will be able to online while spending holiday at home. Have a nice holiday...

Yes jazel, to the long week end ahead, cheers,at least to those who are employed, but to those of us who run our own business, it's just another day...sigh... we don't work we don't eat, but at least the children won't go to school so no waking up early.

Here I have continuous five days of leave. I am well panned on those days. Anyway the main motive on these days are just to spent some good time over here and enjoy the wonderful time. Secondly to spent some time in front of my books to learn something so that I can do good for the exams. Rest is all about the fun, spending time with my friends, my cousins to play outdoor games. I hope I will have a great time over here

My weekend will not be long, but I will enjoy it. I am working a full day tomorrow for someone else. Saturday, hubby will be gone most of the day, so it will be an excellent day to rearrange furniture in our bedroom, with no one being bossy. Sunday is a day of rest with choir and church and time at home. I do not think I am ever going to catch up online again. Just getting too busy.

Your right Jazel we have a very long weekend and it is time to have a rest specially like you who dedicated their self going to work everyday for 5 days, and it seemed you already plan it, going to a massage is great way to relax so I hope you enjoy with your hubby. As for me I'm a home buddy mom nothing special with me on this holiday unless the plan will pursue in meeting a mylotter here in my area.

Just like you Jazel, before the long weekend, i already have plans of what to do with those days. Of course, foremost in my mind is cleaning our bedroom , changing the curtains as well as the beddings, which i just did yesterday. As for the rest of the days, it will be purely relaxation and of course cooking viands which are my favorites. For a starter, i cooked chopsuey and fried pork strips for lunch today. I was exhausted but happy because they liked my cooking.

hi, i also love to experience to have this long weekend but because i am belong to the operational department we still have work for long weekend,i wish i am a regular employee to enjoy and experience somehow this long weekend during holidays.

Yeah! It's more fun in the Philippines due to the holidays! However, I will only be able to have a long weekend and not a long, long weekend. Only Monday is considered holiday for me. My holidays are based in Singapore so Tuesday isn't counted for me. But still, I welcome the long weekend. It will be a nice rest days for me! Let's enjoy it while we can! And it starts just now for me!

Thank goodness fr that. My husband will be home tonight for his RnR and we will be able to hang out with my family longer because everyoe's on a holiday yay!

I'm looking forward to it too as well. I'll have much time to be with my nephews and nieces and we'll just play some board games or bake some cake. I still don't know. I haven't planned it out but whatever we feel like doing on those days I believe it will be a lot of fun. If in case we wanted to do some outdoor thing, I just hope it won't rain because we wouldn't have any choice but to stay indoor. Anyway, on both cases, whichever is applicable, as long as we're all together, I'm grateful for that.

Yeah long weekend and pretty much excited to that. I do plan to have movie marathon. Long days to relax and enjoy for awhile. Get away from stress and work that I deal everyday. Great time to bond with family and friends for quite long. Happy long weekend to everyone and have blast.
