It's going to be a long weekend here in the Philippines (Sat - Tues) so I got myself a .pdf copy of 50 Shades of Grey. I've been seeing a lot of fuzz about this book online so i'm a bit curious about it.
How about you? What are you reading over the weekend?

My very long weekend actually started last Wednesday! Whew! and I'm not reading - I think it's a pure waste of time and energy to read instead of going out with friends and socialize this long weekend. I mean, I could read any time but it's rare to be able to go out without worrying the next day! hehe..
I have a copy of that book and I don't want to be a spoiler but it doesn't interest me at all. Anyway, I'm not going to spoil your fun but if that's your idea of spending your long weekend with, that's okay :)
Have a great long weekend and a great Mylot experience ahead!

I love fantasy books so they are usually my choice for the weekend lecture. My favorite author is Terry Pratchett so I often go back to his books. Right now I'm reading a book written by a great polish author but most of you myLot members probably never heard of him. The book is about a guy who comes to a different world searching some people that used to explore it and gone missing. This may sound a bit cliche but I like the author's writing style and his sense of humor. It also contains some interesting plot twists.

I just finished reading the 50 Shades of Grey book. I am now starting the second book and I am pretty excited. This novel reminds me of some Precious Hearts Romance Pocket book. I think girls will like this book and will actually relate on how Ana felt.

I have finished reading this trilogy two months ago and Im sure you'll love it. As for this weekend, I will be finishing John Grisham's The Rainmaker.

I'm on break from my school and I'd really love to get back into reading, it's been awhile since I've done so without it having to be a requirement. I'd like to finish reading Of Mice and Men, since it's one of the many books that I've started and stopped reading halfway through. I hope you enjoy 50 Shades of Grey, my friend loved it. As for me, I only read have of the first novel and didn't finish it, it was really repetitive in my opinion and I was tired of hearing the woman protagonist complain about seemingly petty issues. But to each their own, so enjoy!

I will be working overtime this weekend until the holidays, but, that won't stop me from reading a good book. My teammate let me borrow her book, Atonement and she says it's a good read. It was adapted into a movie starring Keira Knightly and since I like her, I might as well look for the movie adaptation, too.

I read all three and I enjoyed them. Hope you do too!
I don't think I'll be reading anything this weekend. It's the last weekend I have before my classes start and I know I'll be doing a whole bunch of reading for them lol. So for now, I'm going to give myself a break, lol mostly because I don't have anything good to read at the moment.

I read all the time, like all kinds of stuff. I have heard the hype over 50 shades of grey too. Let us know if you window all steam up when you read it (LOL).
I like mysteries, and suspense novels but do not read them at night or I stay awake and listen for every creak in the middle of the night.
