People have standards of maturity. People tend to think that maturity goes with the age but I guess it's not maturity doesn't matter with the age but it matters with the mind, heart, and character of the person. There are young people that considered to be matured and old people that are still immature. According to someone; a writer maturity is the ability to control anger and settle differences without violence or destruction. If you are mature then you are patient; you are willing to let go immediate pleasure in exchange for long-term gain. Maturity is humility: it is being enough to say, "I was wrong." And, when right, the mature person need to experience the satisfaction of saying, "I told you so." They said a mature person knows how to keep his word and an immature knows alibi.

Maturity doesn't come with age. That is definitely a fact.
I don't consider myself mature enough. I haven't been there yet. Though i'm not childish, there are still times that I'm looking at things in a not so mature way. But i am learning my way there.

There is a good saying,"no one will grow up just by th flowing of time, man grow up just because his firm his future."So I want to add something to your definition to maturity, and that is,one have a firm believe and a strong will.Do you agree with me?
