I think some individuals who have ill motives in mind are riding with the trend using modern technology to lure others for their own gain. They used networking site as their cover to fool others that they are legit. This is more common now this days so we must always be careful in dealing with this kind of people.

thats unfortuntly a sad fact of life that there are people out there that are willing to scam and rob other people of their hard earn money it spoils it for the rest of us. I am always really careful about which site i use, i try to review as money sites as i can before i sign up to it. But all of these scam sites everywhere makes me sad.

There so many frauds and scams on web now. And those vulnerable to such scams are easily got tempted to try only to find out they are scammed. Anyway, we should really be careful who to deal with and the websites we are joining. Those offering fast and easy money has a high tendency turning out to be a scam.

yeah it is true. crime on the internet is increasing and it will have a very bad side effect on the real businessmen. Now one has to be careful when talking to anyone. I don't even go to those social networking sites. thanks for sharing and have a wonderful day ahead.

I feel so sorry for the person who was scammed. Sometimes it is easy to get caught in up in the scheme. The first thing to remember is "if it sounds too good to be true" stay away. I am glad that they caught the scammer. The more people they catch hopefully the more it will deter would be scammers.

You cant stop this until you get to know the world...each and everyday we read in newspapers and online about these kinds of frauds...we are the one to give the fraudster a chance to get cheated...so whether its online or the deal is with a known person , you should know the pros and cons before paying the money...first arrest the person who got cheated...then there will no one to blindly fall to the frauds....

hi, yes, so many frauds, we should be very careful while working online or anywhere else too. This is so disgusting , we should take care of ourselves,and be alert.

It's just another crime in the (very) long list of computer scams & crimes. It's terrible. Those types of people have absolutely no regard for anyone or anything, not even the law. They're the kind of people who would steal candy from a baby. Just the other day I got an email from someone wanting to send me a check to deposit. I forwarded it to a computer crimes government website. I feel sorry for the victim, but you would think that everybody knows by now not to get friendly with people that want anything other than conversation. That's one reason I like mylot. It's kind of a safe place to interact with people without the fear of being scammed (usually).

Hi friend, shocked to hear about this news, surely we must be very careful with online sites, since lot of scams are available here. It is really hard to believe online persons, since some of them are using fake profiles and cheating the innocent persons.
