my husband is on a business trip and he mentioned that he is on a train from delhi to sambalpur because he will attend birthday celebration of our friend professor Bhuwan on 19th August.
it has been on and off that the professor has planned on visiting us again but due to some health concerns, kalyani is hesitant of letting him go.
now husband is going too for that purpose, to convince her and family to let the professor travel. jose too has to go home here because he has been away for quite a while and a vacation home would be wonderful. he can accompany the professor here while on vacation and then they can go back together in india.
i remember the last time i talked with the professor, he was buying little things here and there as gifts to his friends here in the philippines. he is a really thoughtful guy you know.
hubby has promised to accompany him visiting his friends in manila and cebu. am sure it is a swell idea. and i will accompany them on sight seeing.
this time i will cook Indian dishes for him again. its been a long time since he was here and i am as excited with the idea of his travel.
how you feel when a friend from other country stays with you in your home just as a family member?

I've actually never had the opportunity to have a friend of mine from another country to stay at my home, but I know that if that opportunity did ever come about then I would be happy to have them in my home.
With that said, I have had plenty of friends to come and stay with me and when I do let them stay with me, I treat those people just like they are another member of my family.
