It's been a while since I've read a Stephen King book. It's been more than a few months and the last one I read was Lisey's Story. I wasn't really a big fan of it but I felt that since I had gotten so far along in the book that I had to finish it just so I could find out what happens. Everything was too drawn out for me and also it was a bit confusing. Definitely not one of my favorites by him.
My mom got me that book and also Dreamcatcher at some book sale. I still haven't read Dreamcatcher yet and maybe I'll start it soon. It's been too long since I've read a Stephen King book.

I read Lisey's Story too, and i agree with you it wasn't one of my favorites either. It had it's good moments, but over all....it was just okay. And like you, I can't really start a book and not finish it. Just have to push through! Haha
If you need a good one to get you back in the "King mood" I would recommend Rose Madder. Its my favorite and I think it's got it all. It has suspense, action, drama, and of course the classic King horror.
The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon was the first Stephen King book I read, and it got me hooked. It too is one of my favorite King books.

I've kept a few of his books that I would like to read again: Rose Madder, The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon, Misery, and Under the Dome.
Those are his books that I enjoyed so much I know I will want to read them again!

Haha yup, I just have to finish a book too, no matter how much I hate it. That was the last King book I read. I like to have a lot of time on my hands when I read one of his books just because they're always pretty long.
I think I might look up Rose Madder and I may end up reading it. Thank you for the recommendation :) I'll also probably go back and read a lot of his other books as well, including The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon.

I believe the last King book I read was The Long Walk. While I can appreciate it was written well, and other's may enjoy it, it just was not my cup of tea.
Before that I read Under The Dome, and that book I enjoyed VERY much! I thought it was great (although I wasn't that impressed with the ending explanation, but I'm not sure how else it could have ended haha). I would def. recommend this book to any King fans.
A couple of my favorite stories by him are The Girl Who Loved Tom Gorgon and Rose Madder**

Currently reading Under the Dome, and enjoying it! I've read quite a lot of Stephen King books, hopefully someday I will have read them all.

peachypie302,
Hello, the last Stephen king book I read was Under the dome.Though it was good,I thought it was too long and felt as if King was not sure how to end it.Dolores Clairboune is good.Try seeing the movie, not for suspense or horror, but for the story and superb acting by Kathy Bates.Though she won the Oscar for Misery I think she was better in this one.
