Cushion On Red Throw Replaced By The Cat

Flojo Lounging On New Red Throw - Flojo claiming the throw as her own!

I don't know about you but I always give in to my cat's demands. Yesterday I felt sorry for her as she wanted to lie on my red throw on the sofa but could only fit on the corner due to the cushion being in the way. So, me being the dutiful owner (or 'Mug' depending on how you look at it) I moved the cushion so she has room to..er..spread herself on the cover. I've included a photograph so you can see how comfy she is. For that split second she was wide awake but I can promise you she's normally fast asleep on her new bed! Do you always give in to your cats?

Flojo looks like our Mo or Flower and Blossom, the only difference between her and Oliver is that the Big "O" is a long hair! You know I don't give in too much, because there are so many of them, but rather than fight over the bed, I just take everything off it in the morning! We started letting Gabby out because she drives us crazy meowing, but then she's outside meowing to come in!

Aah, yes, they like playing with us like that don't they? Flojo tends to wait for me to sit down before wanting to go into the kitchen for some food. This means getting up - either - nearby where I am now at my computer or at the other end of the room if I'm watching telly. Granted, it's not exactly a mile away but it can be annoying sometimes..and she knows it too!

when i first started on mylot i had 5 cats and a little dog, sadly my little dog went over the rainbow bridge just over 5 weeks ago and i havent been able to mention it on mylot as far too upset. and sadly also i have one cat left, the intrepid Tyson, he is big, black, a very loud miaow and can purr for britain, but there is not one mean bone in his big furry body. he has a little stumpy tail(fight with a fox before i owned him) and walks with a limp( run in with a car also before i owned him)He is the only pet now, but like all my pets, get his own way in all things. He has his own pet bed, raised off the ground, in the greenhouse, with water and biscuits. he has another bed in the kitchen with a cat blanket. plus he uses a litter tray indoors even if the back door is open because he prefers it. costs a fortune in cat litter, but have to keep my boy happy. he has cat milk when he wants it and is very fond of chicken and ham. long may he go on keeping us happy bless him. there are some pictures of him on my page.

hi janey, not sure how old he is as he is yet another rescue cat, but he must be at least 16 to 18. he is still very agile, but i have noticed lately, he doesnt jump up on the kitchen worktops(very un hygenic!) like he used to, but he can still jump up on the bed and his favourite chair.Going back to his origins, he belonged to a driver in the company i worked for. His owner changed his job and due to a career move he had to move to another part of the country for retraining. he wanted to make sure his cat went to a good home and i was nominated by the girls in my office, as a person who took in waifs and strays . His owner bought him to me and i know he was very upset to leave him but tyson settled in well and now he is the boss cat

Don't you just love older cats? I think they're so adorable, I really do. We get so attached to them and they to us.

Awwww, how old is he? I absolutely love older cats..well, all cats to be honest! Mum made me laugh because she thought that her two suddenly wanted to be out all night. It turns out they were sat at the back door because the window-sill they jump onto through the window was full of "crap" as Mum put it. Needless to say, she's provided them with a proper landing area (in other words, she's moved all the crap) so they can come in now. Those 2 are 9 and 8 (mother and daughter combo) and mine is 5 this year. I shall now take a look at Tyson!

I do not give in all the time but often enough that they expect it regularly. I am sure she just knew she would be very photogenic on your new throw.

Hi GardenGerty and binggaling. Yes, I did think Flojo thought she would be photogenic on my throw and I've also realised (since I took the photograph) that - once I have that elusive red carpet that I know is as bright as the throw, black and white does indeed go very well with it. Perhaps that was another reason why Flojo decided she wanted to lie on the throw, to give me even more interior design ideas lol.

Do we have a choice? Banjo lets me know if I am not doing what he wants. He sits next to me and looks at me with his eyes really big and menacing. Then he touches my leg with claws out! This is when he needs to go out urgently or when he's dying of starvation.

Absolutely! He's mia this morning which has me worried. He's probably spent the night at a friends or is just snoozing somewhere...he should be because he ate heaps last night.

I usually give in to the demands of my fuzzy overlords--er, cats. My eldest adopted me almost a decade ago, so I've been pretty well trained by him especially. It is amazing how much space a standard-sized cat can take up. Even if we had a king-sized bed, I think that the cats would still manage to claim at least half of it.

I always on my opinion the cats are quite intelligent pet animals and they are very nice at times.but at times they play pranks and quite intelligent,i have experienced while i was sitting in my home,it bounced on my face, since a stone was approaching towards me from top ceiling and it saved me.they are the loveliest animals to have all time
