I am alone here at home enjoying mylot and suddenly I've heard a crash sound. I knew very well it's a sound of a broken glass. Hmnn...I look at the window in front of me and look at the door on my right side. But I can see it's not windy outside. After posting the response that I have type I decided to check what is that crash sound. My intuition lead me to my room and I saw a broken frame lying on the floor. I pick it up and saw it's my ex-hub's diploma. The glass frame is broken in pieces. So what's creepy? This frame needs a new glass frame- and I am sure it may cost a little (duh) But kidding aside dear mylotters. Here in our country, such incident means bad omen- like a warning or a bad message. Oh well....let's see what next Enjoy weekend everyone jaiho®- no eerie feeling 8-18-2012 1:39pm Saturday

That would have me spooked as well. Our house has "something" around/in it. Not long after we moved in my son swore up and down he felt like he was being watched and he would hear voices. Both my husband and I spent separate nights in his room and didn't hear anything. We told him if he was scared to sleep in the living room as his room is on the other side of the house from everyone & the living room is right outside our door. Fast forward to the summer. We have been in the house about 5 months. My son leaves to visit his Dad mid-June. July rolls around and I swore one night I could hear little kids talking which I assumed was on of my 2 yr olds toys running out of batteries - still sacred me at the time. Towards the end of July my husband went out of town for a week.About 3 weeks ago, I wake up in the middle of the night and clear as day (which is really weird because I'm pretty blind without glasses) I can see this girl hovering over my husbands desk. It was one of those moments where you don't even really realize you are awake and then you brain says "OMG What is that?". Totally weird for me to see something other than the flying balls of light. Usually I just feel stuff - which I have in this house. Of course my husband sleeps through the whole event of me freaking out and hiding under the covers (real brave,eh? lol). I tell him the next day and he says "Oh that must be what has been on the porch for the last week"...really could you not have said something? I'm actually really concerned because my 2 1/2 yr old plays by herself (this isn't something new) and is always talking & singing to herself. I just don't want her to draw anything to her. Anyway, now I feel totally bad that we dismissed my son (at the time we thought he was telling us for attention because he was in trouble) . He comes back from his Dad's tomorrow, I think I'm going to wait to see if he mentions anything before I tell him what happened.

hello sedel, You remind me of my cousin who sees things. I am the person who doesn't believe unless I saw it myself. I admit I have many experience with creepy things but I can say it's not that scary. My cousin who is around 4 years old and me 12 yrs old by that time live with our grandparents house. He plays as if he is playing with someone and talk like he is talking with someone- but we can't see anything. And when we asked him why he is talking alone- he would simply answer and point his finger in front of him- saying he is playing and talking with someone in front of him- huh? But we can't see anything- (fine) It goes for many years and when we moved house he even bid goodbye to his unseen friends. My cousin's 8 yrs old by that time. He sits in the living room talking sadly saying "goodbye" to his unseen friends. I ask him why he said goodbye, my cousin said , his friend cannot come with us because he also has family with him and he cannot leave them" Wow- so we have unseen things moving around the house with us. My cousin is now 30 yrs old , married with one kid and says he never had any encounter with unseen for many years already. I have heard that few people has the ability to see and talk with the unseen. Regarding your experience- I don't know what to comment about it. Thanks for the share and have a great day

Hi jai, your right that's an old myth I still remember When still a kid I broke a small size mirror and they told me that one of the family members will also get hurt or will have wounds of that size of a mirror too. I don't believed it but when my father got home from fishing he was in a accident her foot was been slashed by a propeller of his boat like the size of the mirror I broke. And they blame me for that, my father did not believed in that myth it is only coincident in time when I broke the mirror. Still now I don't believe I still trust my instinct.

@ lyn, wow, what a coincidence That is one reason why many people believed in superstitions because of coincidence. Until today, still many among our countrymen believes in many myths and superstitions....

lynboobsy such myths cannot hold good nowadays when we are using more of glass --in every need of life. However it is advisable for us to be more cautious when we handle glass and other fragile items. good day.

The only thing that would make that creepy is if it just fell off of a dresser or something with no vibration or wind from outside. If it fell off a wall, then the nail fell. But why would you have your ex-husbands diploma in a frame at all? Anyway, no big deal. I don't see it as a omen.

hello interia, Most of us (here in my country) like to have our diploma in frames and display inside room or any corner. It was not hanged, it's leaning on the wall with other picture frames inside my room. There's no wind and that's why it surprise me.. Anyway, nothing to worry- I am not a superstitious believer

It sounds creepy to me, but I guess that it might fall down because of the touch of a little mouse. Have you ever thought of that? Or it was not stably placed on the table that it fell down to the floor? Take care, jaiho.

Hi jaiho. I understand what you are talking about. It has happened to me twice. Once 17 years ago, in my parents house. And another time in our home, 8 years ago. I fear a little bit. Because there was no explanation. Even the nail rested in the wsll. But I have seen some holly nice things too. So scly what I do is to pray, and to spray Holy Water. I love to pray the Holy Father or the Hail Mary. I know this may sound weird to you. But I believe in both Good and Bad energies, and I prefer not to be in the darkside, so I pray.

hello dainy, Well, I believe that no person in clear mind wants to stay on the darkside I do pray always so there is nothing wrong to pray many times. There is no restriction with how many times a person must pray. Thanks and have a great day

A ghost must be looming in your house... I was watching a TV show the other day about how a woman was murdered, and when the detectives found her, next to her body on the wall was the name "ROC" written in blood. They never caught the killer, who they believe was her boyfriend. After watching that (it was pretty late at night, too), every dark room I saw I pictured a killer there, with bright eyes, waiting to jump out and kill me. I was so scared the rest of the night. So that's my scary story, haha. ~ Annie

That does sound a bit weird and would've definitely alerted me to check my surroundings and make sure no one had broken in or anything like that. Once that had been determined, I would assume that it was sitting in a spot that was not very ideal and when the house or apartment "settle", it shifted the glass frame off out place. I wouldn't read that much into it, though. Pray and live !

hello mrscallands, I was not that scared that much , but only wonder why it falls when the window is close and there's no wind getting inside the room. I just thought there might be a little mice roaming around- (hehehe) but it's not possible as well (our house is mice free) Thanks for your response and have a great day

Oh there your superstitious mind goes Jaiho. But then, when one is alone and would suddenly hear a noise like that when the wind is so still, one would feel afraid. Well, honestly, i would think the same too, with what happened to you like that.

jaiho: do not feel worried. Such omens were decided when people were using very less of glass items. nowadays everything is made of glass-- table, window, tumblers, cups etc. so we cannot be hundred per cent cautious always. This omen is told so that people will be careful in their dealings and not be rough and break things. basically a broken glass cannot be fixed together. nothing bad will happen. good day. New avatar? what is this who are the people in avatar of jaiho.?

Hi jai, Oh! we too have a saying that when a glass is broken, something bad may happen. And why not? if we are not taken proper care in cleaning the mess, a glass piece can cause us bleed, making us hurt. YOu siad it, getting a new frame costs too much (another bad thing...) Happy weekend..
