My laptop is already 6 months old. I've put free antivirus and a system care to make work good even years will passed. The last 3 days I got so busy because of our exam and haven't turned my computer on. Today, when I turned on my laptop, it says that there is an error and can't load to windows. I've searched about it and asked my friends. My day turns bad. I tried to fix the problem but it doesn't work. So I decided to reformat it. After that, my laptop goes so smooth. It feels so new. And I'm so happy. Can you recommend any application which is good in system caring? B'coz I don't really want to make this kind of thing to happen again. I've lost some of my files which is saved in drive C. But thanks the important files are stored in D. It works too good now.

The computer always run smoothly when a new oS is installed in a system with no special applications installed. I think in next six months it will again show slow results.

Totally agreed with bloodmask! Every install of Windows OS is definitely fast and smooth at first, but when it is used at least about what mentioned above, there's no doubt that it will slow down. I experienced it many times so I'm letting you know that expect it. :-)

Yah I know that a thing will depreciate its performance time after time. But the time I bought it, it was still very new and not a second hand but the performance is really not as good as what I feel now. hehehe..

Haha. I guess you're right about that. But I hope it won't happen as early as that again. I will take good care of it.

Well I'm glad that you solved your own problem, you know I'm hoping that your OS is not pirated now, because you said you formatted the system. If you want a really safe application for caring your system, go to iobit website, you will see many freeware apps there, go download it and install it to your system and it will take care of everything. I'm also advising you not to use the registry cleaning function, be careful in such tampering function for registry because it can cause something unusual for your OS system. I'm using linux as my OS, there is no problem using it and all the application here is free and you don't need any caring apps because it doesn't slow, and one more thing, it also never need any anti-virus applications.

Thanks for the information. Linux is really a good OS because you don't need to install an antivirus. But it is really difficult for me to switch to that OS because in our laboratory at school we used Windows. And I have an Advance System Care which is free version from iobit but the last time I installed it, it says that it is not compatible with my OS and sometimes it doesn't work well. Now, after I reformat it, I didn't install it again because maybe that is one of the cause that made my system have an error.

Maybe you did erase something that is important in Windows system file, and the reason it can't load the system is because it can't locate something that is need to be loaded. Maybe you did overuse the power of the system care, especially the registry cleaner, this function is very delicate to use and also very sensitive, one mistake of cleaning will definitely make your system unstable. Use a virtual layer to your computer so it can protect your system in any kind of unusual effect through applications. When you have that, you no longer need an anti virus when using internet browser, plus it will free up the resources of your computer and make it more faster than before especially in loading your software. :-)

rusale: You are so young. you know formatting computer also. How did you reformat it? interesting. You had windows ready with you for reloading? I am using AVG free anti virus and also Glary utilities for cleaning. I also go to c drive properties and clean or delete unwanted temporary files. I also clear the history in browser.

I just knew how to reformat a computer about a year ago but I'm not so sure on how I did it. Yesterday, I reformat it with the help of my brother. Steps in reformatting a computer is just easy but selecting which option to select is the hard part. So, I ask a help from my brother because he knows how to do it. And now it's working fine. And the history of my browsers, I set to clear history every time I close the browser so I have no problem with that. I installed free avira antivirus and it works fine.

Is your system restore function turned on ? if so you could restore your system to the earlier state. If you don't like inbuilt system restore, you can try third-party system restore software. If you are using windows 7, you can maintain a image backup, in other O.S. you can use third party backup software to avoid re-installation of O.S.
