James Chapter 1, verse 22-25, "22 Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says. 23 Anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it says is like someone who looks at his face in a mirror 24 and, after looking at himself, goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like. 25 But whoever looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and continues in it—not forgetting what they have heard, but doing it—they will be blessed in what they do.
Many people claim that they read the Bible everyday. A lot said that they had read Bible from cover to cover. But then, there never practise what the Bible said.
There are people who haven't read the whole Bible, but any verse they ever read from the Bible, they take it to their heart and do according to what the Bible said.
This is the type of Christian we had nowadays. While it is good to completely read the Bible, but it is alos important to know what it meant and do according to what Bible said.
Let us improve our knowledge in the Bible, not just reading it, and we will be blessed.
