I got the prepaid cards today at the grocery store when at work. I thoughtit would be simple, but clearly not. I filled out all the information such as my name and so on, I clicked saying I want to be able to top up the card not automatic payments. It all went through, then at the end it says monthly charges $35.00. I tried calling the 1-800 number but they have no idea, and said it shouldnt be a problem (my luck it will). Now the stupid stick wont work, it downloaded and says it detects the stick, but the internet isnt working. The rep told me to wait 45 minutes from the time I download and process it. So now Im sitting here waiting.

Don't you just hate that? I am really sorry. How frustrating that is! I know you were really excited about using the prepaid cards.

Its very frustrating when I want it for tonight, and spend time here on MyLot. I am hooking up to the local wifi, which keeps cutting in and out which is why I got the stick. Hopefully, it works and all is solved, with the internet Im using right now I have to sit at the back door, whereas I want to relax and watch tv while online which can only be done with the stick.

Let's hope it works, as I put enough money in it. I want steady internet while petsitting so I can catch up with MyLot tonight. The reps Ive talked to from the company arent that knowledgeable, not sure if its a good thing or not. I guess time will tell now wont we.

I am beginning to wonder if for some reason those sticks were faulty and that is why they decided to discontinue them. I know that I would be extremely irritated and be throwing the stick out the window myself. Hopefully they can either get it straightened out or give you a full refund, you shouldn't have to go through so much trouble.

When my best friend was first getting her Virgin Mobile set up for her Wifi she did have some problems with getting it set up and she was on the phone with customer service for quite some time and they were not able to walk her through it. She finally got frustrated with it and turned it all off. However, when she turned her entire system back on, it was able to connect to the internet without any kind of problem at all. I think that this might be a case where patience is a virtue.
