Check out the photos I took of quilts to keep to inspire me and my own designs. I have learned that taking pictures with my phone is not a good idea for these types of photos. Next time I will take my actual camera and get better detail. I do not know shy I didn't think to take my camera with me, to the Shop Hop, but I didn't. However, I do visit the 3 stores where I found these frequently, so perhaps, I can get some better photos. Thank goodness for a photo program that allows me to sharpen images otherwise I don't think they would have been good enough to even show on here. I suggest anyone who wants to take photos similar to mine do it with a good digital camera with a higher resolution. Thanks for viewing my photos and please feel free to leave a comment.

I take pictures of each of the quilts I finish.. with my Cannon Sure Shot camera. I intend to get them developed and put them in my quilting journal I have started. I plan to have the picture of the finished quilt and then the description and blocks used and measurements and comments etc. I don't know what good it will do as I don't plan on copying any of them again.. i like making new theme ones! But still...I think it will just be nice and fun for me to look back at what I have done.
However...if I am ever fortunate enough to be good enough and be able to take orders and sell my quilts.. I can use it to "show off" the options I can do!

Just looked at the photos...beautiful! I like the halloween ones..and have been planning to make one but just not sure I am going to get to it. I am not a halloween person, but have been planning (all year long!) to make a quilt for each holiday just for the decoration purpose and during the winters when it is fun to wrap a quilt around my legs while watching TV of extra blanket on the bed.

I like the small, potholder sized, ones I did for Halloween. They were fun and basically used log cabin style. It is fun to make any quilt. Enjoy!
