why false things still believable by people inrespect of cat

Serveral people still believe that when a cat cross while they go for a work it is not good and the work will not finish successfully. After all it is a pet it is searching for food. We have six sense why should we believe still this kind of things in this modern world.

true what you are telling is a superstition. still we believe it because we believe in our senior/elders who have taught us these things. Unless we experience to the contrary we accept what is taught to us by our parents/grand parents. Certain things in life are not reasoned out but accepted as it is. For example belief in God is also one such thing. superstitions come next. as long as humanity is there these things will continue.

I agree with you. But somethings we should change then only we should live in the modern world. If you are living in some other countries and follow the rules in that country people will laugh you and think as mad. So we should change our mentality and take decision wisely.
