the generation of daycare!!

these days every other parent I meet is keen on sending their kids to daycare and start working as soon as possible!! i wonder how the future generation is gonna be... i mean, can anybody else really replace parents... when kids spend 8-9 hours a day in the daycare, what could be they doing the whole day, what are they learning, the language, the habits, the hygiene!! there are good daycares, those which really work towards teaching and learning, but not all of them.

Well you can't expect all parents to be with their kids 24/7. Raising children requires a lot of money so the parents have to go to work to pay for them. And the duration of pregnancy or parental leaves are mostly decided by the bosses of the parents. I went to daycare when I was really little but I also spent a lot of time with my parents, and I turned out fine. Yes, there are bad daycares, you have to find a good one of course.
