I was just sitting there, eating my sandwich and saw a little lizard crawling on the ground- cautiously, like i couldn't see it already. So i decided to throw some bread crumbs and it immediately ran to it and ate it.. i threw 3 more and it ate it all. it was so cute..licking its lips and all.

Lol now you might not get rid of it since you fed it. But no I didn't know they ate bread I mostly thought they were meat eaters such as bugs.

hello lady. I believe you have already answered you question. We have had lizards around our home a lot. I would never have guessed one would eat any thing but insects. Maybe there was a drought of insects in that area. These kind of creatures are so much fun to watch. I like lizards and frogs and toad.

Hello lady1993, I have seen many times that lizards eat small insects, but I haven't see a lizard eating bread . It is a new information for me, thank you! Anyway, next time when I saw them, I will definitely throw a piece of bread to it .
