Recently, I had my second baby girl, it only too ke less than two hours, I honestly think it could have been faster had my midwife came on site earlier. It didn't take me long to feel like I had to push, as soon as my midwife came to my house and told me I just had to do whatever I felt like(pushing) and I did, my baby was born quickly! How about yours?

Our first born took all of twenty-five minutes. Weren't so lucky with the twins. They were feet first and ended up being delivered emergency c section. My daughter I think was the fastest at twenty minutes. When our last was due we lived twenty-five minutes from the hospital. We elected to do a home birth for obvious reasons. The midwife told my wife to try not to push until she got there. She barely made it. She then told us that had we tried to get to the hospital we would have ended up with a roadside birth. Congratulations on the little girl by the way.

wow you have a fast and easy labor, with my first child i spend eight hours and i get 11 stitches and my son weighted 7 pounds he is now 6 years old. with my second child it was almost 6 hours, and she weighted 8 pounds she is a month old now. Some people have short labor, while some long and hard labor. with my two kids i did feel natural pain, doctors gave trips and stuff to feel pain an burst my water. I would say both my labor was long and hard.

yea that was long, when i have my first i said that i wasn't going back. When i was in the hospital, their was this girl who spend almost a day in the labor an she was expecting twins. And the doctors was upset with the nurses because the doctor sat that, once it pass 16 hours they should have bring to the theater. She give birth to one and the next by Caesarean section. So you can spend even a day in labor,an it is really painful.

My first son's birth took me 16 hours, I thought it was so long and painful too. The second one was two hours, when I was pushing in the tub, I felt like it was taking forever but once it was done, it was like lightening fast!

wow when i read about how long some had their labor for, it amazes me that they were able to cope that long. i definitely wouldn't have been able to for sure. i'm fortunate in the sense that both times, my labor was short. for my first child, the pain was less than 2 hours, although it took me 4 hours to finally deliver. the first 2 hours were painless while the next two hours made me sweat buckets. as for my second child, it was all over within 30 minutes and less. i went to the hospital after starting to get contractions, was immediately sent to a just empty room and started to push once they were done with all the preparations. my husband didn't even have time to finish the administrative procedures. hehe

haha not boasting, but i find myself lucky in that sense too. i'm not one who can tolerate pain for long. well, make sure you do lots of walking and drink lots of hot drinks when you're near your term. that helps in making the delivery faster

that's a wow from you too! You were very lucky to have such short labor, 30 minutes? That's excellent without having to suffer too long! I hope I could do a short labor again if I ever get pregnant again.

My second baby was my quickest not sure how long I was in labor with her but I was told to push just til I crowned then let her come on her own. Reason for that is all the doctors we're in delivering other babies by the time my doctor came in she was out.

All three of mine where very different. Baby one was induced at 34.5 weeks so that took about 20 plus hours but once my water was broken because it wouldn't break on its own I hard labor for about 15 minutes before going from 5cm to 10cm talk about going from zero to 60 second. She was born under and hour. Baby 2 he came on his own at 36.6weeks 6 hours of labor, 10 minutes of pushing, he had a big head and was born. Much faster then my first. baby 3 I was also induced with last year and I was in labor for 3 hours had him with in a good hour after my water was broken, took about 20 minutes of pushing waiting for those big contractions sucks. All three all natural no pain meds.
