are you Jakarta citizens? if yes, you must be happy.
there are no traffic jam.
jakarta is quiet and you can reach some place with quickly..
every place in Jakarta free from traffic jam..
but wait until 3 days later..jakarta is back like usual..crowded and many traffic jam..
maybe it is same like our discussion here, indonesian interest...alone, quiet near Lebaran

We are in fine condition. There are many differences, Eid in Tanjungpinang and Yogyakarta. Tanjungpinang, there is a tradition to paint the house. Each house also always provide AIr kaleng. Very different, is the way to apologize to the parents. In Yogyakarta, if to apologize, to parents, using Sungkeman. But, in Tanjungpinang not.

we know the tradition sungkeman too, but maybe with the different ways...
i think the tradition for painting the home, is the way that we are happy this is lebaran...as long as we have money for preparing our home with good condition, paint the home as one of the way it

No Im not a Jakarta citizens, but I lived in Jakarta few years back. Yes, few days before Eid day Jakarta getting empty because many people going back to their hometown to visit their family and celebrate Eid day, no traffic jam and the situation is very different than normal busy day. BUT the traffic is moved to my city, it is very crowded here in Yogyakarta, many vehicles with outside Yogya license's number. it is like Yogyakarta and Jakarta swap position for several days, jakarta is empty while Yogyakarta is crowded and traffic everywhere.

I'm not from Jakarta but one of my friends went to live there and he did say that it was a beautiful place to live but very busy but if you go anywhere in the world most big cities are busy with a high volume of traffic. its always frustrating because no one wants to be sitting in traffic all day.

I am not a person Jakarta, but I know every time Eid came Jakarta streets were deserted and kemcaetan will be gone in a few moments. Maybe people are genuine Jakarta will merassakan comfort when congestion is gone, they will enjoy.

Eid Mubarak! You are still on holidays there, aren't you? It's business as usual or no holiday here... Even those who celebrated Eid yesterday, they have to go back to work or school already today...
Wouldn't it be nice if Jakarta is as quiet as it is now every day? I read in the news, though, it took those who went Mudik along the Pantura stretch forever to get to their destinations. Traffic were practically stopped bumper to bumper...
Enjoy your holiday!
